Contemplation by Crystal Dreamer

The melodic tones of the divine mantra Sita Ram reverberate through me and I am gifted with a vision. In my mind’s eye floating before me I see a concertina. I behold an endless myriad of billowed folds, compressing inwards, one merging upon another; followed by an undulating wave of movement causing the billowed folds to expand. The gentle expansion and contraction allows the energy to move through this divine instrument like a great cosmic breath, ebbing and flowing through time. In a moment of contemplation I ask myself: Who is thy master of the concertina? Who art thou, directing the movement and melody of this wave song of sound?

A radiant glow emanates from within, revealing the concertina in a new light. I now see that the vision of the concertina gently overlaying an illumined image of the mind. Ah, the mind as an instrument. And I begin to understand.

Universal Light is the cosmic breath that moves through the mind. The eyes of perception are like all the billowed folds. As all the little folds are compressed, Universal Light flows and vibration moves through the instrument. If the little folds remain compressed, the vibration ceases. Within this stasis perceptive awareness folds in on itself, just as the billowed folds collapse in upon each other. Movement and expansion within the mind, creates the space for perceptive awareness to be illumined, as the breath of Universal Light moves through it.

And I ask myself: Who is pushing the buttons on this concertina and directing the tone of the melody?

Who is directing the heart song, the divine melody of my soul?

Who is the musician of my mind?

A more lovely sight is seldom seen.

The wind blows and carries my mind away.

To a distant land, and another day.

I see a village by the shore.

A thatch-roofed hut and an open door.

The nets are strung on a beam outside.

They are being sewn with strings of hide.

I can hear the pounding drum.

Calling in each and every one.

From their work and from their play.

For this was a special day.

The yield of the sea had been kind.

There was food for all to find.

And offered for a special feast.

To ride the wind, to tame the beast.

All who came did dance and eat.

Some sat down by the Master's feet.

To listen to the words he spoke.

Within their hearts the silence broke.

I am here to reveal to you.

The causes of the things you do.

To plant within your heart a seed.

To fill even your deepest need.

To share the mystery of love.

To show you dreams from up above.

To lift your heart and make you whole.

To begin the stirring of your soul.

Be still and know the silence now.

A small still voice will tell you how.

To kindle the fire that dwells within.

Which is the place you must begin.

In silence your soul will speak.

Of the things that men do seek.

Softly spoken and seldom heard.

It is part of the job at hand.

To raise the consciousness of man.

To stop the war that wages within.

The only place you can begin.

When peace is found one heart at a time.

The nations will follow down the line.

For when you realize you are your brother.

You can no longer hurt one another.

Peace will come from the inside out.

Then no longer will you shout.

Filled with hurt and filled with pain.

For only peace will then remain.

In passing time, all wounds will heal.

And you will know then what is real.

Peace may shape the destiny of man.

Then once again rule the land.

But it is you who must choose.

Will humanity win or lose.

The changes must start today.

Within your heart you'll find the way.

The words I speak draw you near.

Truth is a gem among the coal.

The Festival of Wesak ~ The Festival of the Buddha

The Wesak Festival, second of the Three Major Planetary Spiritual Festivals, is celebrated globally at the time of the Taurus full moon. In 2007, this event falls on May 2 at 3:09 am PDT (10:09 UT).

The Wesak Festival is spiritually known to be the supreme moment in the annual cycle, when the Buddha and the Christ come together in a sacred ritual. At this pivotal moment, there is opportunity to share in the "high water-mark of spiritual blessing in the world."

Significance of Wesak The Forces of Enlightenment are available at the Taurus full moon, marking the high-water mark of spiritual blessing for the world, and opening a channel of communication between humanity and deity.

Wesak Legend According to tradition, at the time of the full moon in Taurus, the Buddha comes to the Wesak Valley of the Himalayas to bring the powerful spiritual energy of Shamballa to the assembled masters, initiates and disciples of the Hierarchy, for the assimilation and eventual distribution of this Shamballa force throughout the world. The Lighted Way The entire zodiac can be approached and understood from the angle of light. The Secret to Healing Conflict

Hi Peace Friends,

In a moment of synchronicity, I discovered this beautiful short movie clip of Tehran, Iran. What's interesting is that unlike other movies that feature images of war torn destruction, this clip illumines the colour, beauty, light and harmony all around this beautiful city.

Here's the synchonicity. Just days ago, I watched the inspirational DVD, The Secret, which explores and illumines the Law of Attraction. In this movie, the synergistic power of the mind, our thoughts, feelings, and emotions were highlighted as a key for co-creating in harmony with this phenomenal natural law. In essence, whatever we pay attention too, whether perceived as good or unpleasant -- manifests.

Another key lesson from The Secret, was understanding that in this realm of physicallity there is a phenomena known as duality -- for every energetic expression there is a polar opposite. There is no escaping this natural law. If you throw a coin in the air, it doesn't matter if the person throwing the coin is perceived as good or bad, the coin will inevitably fall back down.

Following this insight, The Secret explored the incredible life affirming power of embracing Gratitude and focussing one's thought upon the ever-expanding abundance expressing within -- and all around us.

The Secret is for me, life changing. Through it, I am learning to free myself from the energetic allure caused by conflict -- and the subsequent thoughts that are generated. I am learning to re-direct my thoughts and my energy on the beauty all around me In Gratitude. When I experience a perceived limitation, I catch my thought stream, and change it! It doesn't matter that I have experienced thoughts of limitation for what feels like a very long time, at any time I can adopt a new thought, and create a feeling to match it.

So how does this relate to the movie clip The Peace Train (link posted below). Well I believe that this little clip a powerful multidimensional tool for adopting new thoughts, feelings and responses to conflict. For example, when we see, hear or directly experience conflict, we can choose to respond to it in a way that consciously amplifies the polar opposite of conflict. We can create a virtual energy stream of peace.

How can we do this? Inspired by The Secret, I believe the following simple process might help. First become a witness to your thoughts. An example might be: "I am observing my thoughts and they are highly charged with anger right now. But I am not that anger. I am Love. I now choose to focus on the harmony expressing within and around me... I really appreciate this person allowing me the opportunity to experience anger -- and its polar opposite, peace".

Next allow yourself to feel really good. Sometimes the energy of being caught in the drama can feel quite good, as it releases hormones that may cause an addictive rush. Adopting a new way of being and responding to drama is life changing, evoking a lasting feeling of calm wellbeing and deep inner peace. So the next step involves creating a new response to the drama, instead of simply reacting. Once you have created a new thought, you can begin to create feelings to match your inspired thoughts of gratitude.

Visualize beautiful images and recall memories that evoke a warm sense of gratitude. Feel as though a surge of gratitude is filling your being with tranquil well being, filling you with ever-greater spheres of Light. Feel as though you are pure light energy experiencing all that it is to be human. Imagine your inner light radiating like a star within you, casting rays of light in all directions, sending a wavesong of peace to those in need. Really get a sense that the light that you are transcends all perceived limitations.

Though short, the movie of Tehran is a wonderful multidimensional tool for creating new thoughts, visual streams and feelings on global peace, most especially in areas that are now experiencing conflict. I recommend this wonderful little movie clip any time you are exposed to moments of conflict, whether it be confronting images of war within the media, or a minor conflict with a friend, loved one or work collegue. Let us remember the beauty all around us and heal conflict with gratitude.

Such a beautiful weaving of words into light, I felt such an incredible outpouring of love within them. I also felt a very special resonance with:

I have been journeying in this awareness... nestled within the embrace of the divine, yet feeling with a depth of intensity that is overwhelmed by the perceived confines of duality. The illusionary tug of time, space, distance, and circumscribed form masking a much greater reality.

Slowly the days number themselves
In traversing the long distances of you and I.

How is it we should measure
The duration of love with such things?

Breathe into your essence, and relax as your breath flows into its own natural rhythm. Notice the ebb and flow of vital life giving oxygen as it fills you with energy and vitality. Imagine that each tiny cell within you is being infused with vital life force energy. You may like to imagine this as a beautiful golden light, a feeling or sensation.

Gently close your eyes, and become aware of the shimmering play of light behind your closed eyelids. Imagine before you four majestic columns of Golden-White Light. Intensify the vision of your image, so that the columns of Light resemble an 11:11 Gateway. The light radiance of this luminous inter-dimensional gatway casts a soft, golden glow. Resonating with crystalline purity, the sunshine warmth of this light fills you with joyous healing tones of the most exquisite octaves of colour, light, and sound.

Breathe fully and deeply, and just allow your body to pull to it, the frequencies it needs for healing, renewal and rejuvenation. You feel so light and free.

Take all the time you need to bathe in these high-vibrational frequencies of Light. As you adjust to and attune with the light resonance, become aware of your third eye area. Inhale and draw your breath into this area, and as you do this, visualize a tiny star-point of light radiating from your third eye.

Become aware now, of your self as an observer. Attune with yourself as pure, unconditioned, consciousness. Feel as though a cosmic spiral of light is guiding you into your deepest inner knowing.

Within this sacred awareness, feel your mind gently expanding, becoming luminous with Light. You feel a wondrous sense of receptivity. Bathe in the light, as you simply watch - observe - the thoughts fleeting through your mind - the colors, visions and symbols dancing across your consciousness. Become aware of the intensity of colour and vitality that exists all around you, as you attune your senses with All That Is.
