I am going to get a book or two on this topic and post more once I have read them. Does anyone have any suggestions for some good books. I would like to look at more than one view point. |

I've read a few, and the one I like the best so far is The Mayan Code by Barbara Hand Clow. |

Currently I am reading the Gaia Project. I highly recommend everyone to read this book. Not all views are the same as mine but it gives a totally different perspective of the Great Change of Earth which is expected to be completed by the year 2012. The author says that there is actually mainly an intergallactic reasoning for this change. I have to agree that there is probably more involvement from beings from other planets than we care to acknowledge. |

I can highly recommend Carl Johann Calleman and his book The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness. This book shows that the Maya were tuned in to the patterns of the evolution of consciousness like no other people before or since. For me, this book resonates with the work of Ken Wilber in that the levels are organized in a holarchy that transends and includes the prior level. |

The most comprehensive and best researched book I've found on the subject is “Beyond 2012” by Geoff Stray, a British researcher. It's a little hard to find in the U.S. but I talked with Geoff a few days ago and he says a U.S. publisher is on board to make the book more available in the U.S. |

Pinchbeck is a really good read and a great entry point. I would also recommend the book Earth: Pleiadian Keys to the Living Library by Barbara Marciniak - wow, you'll be in for one interesting ride. I'm thinking about tackling José Argüelles' Time and the Technosphere. He's perhaps the most ardent about ditching the Gregorian calendar and switching to the 13-based system of the Maya, and has several other books on 2012 as well I believe. For more (channeled and beautiful) information on dimensional ascendence, see We, The Arcturians. |

The Mystery of 2012 is a new book by Sounds True that's made up of a whole series of essays from quite a few different perspectives. They've got a website for it (with blog posts and excerpts) here. If you're looking for a collection of interpretations, I'd definitely recommend it. |

I saw a post mentioning Daniel Pinchbeck. I would like whoever reads this know that www.realitysandwich.com and www.evolver.net are websites co-founded by Daniel as a resource and place to discuss such topics. I hope you enjoy. |
