Shambhala Warriors
Long ago and far away, When no more death on Earth we’d see And children laugh and dance, and swing, A new day dawn, a glorious spring, …∞… But as the Earth begins her birth, They spurn to see, and scorn with glee, And though we hope that peace might stay, They beat their drums to tone of war, …∞… And so we send the prophets hand But long ago it was foretold, And when they’d realize time and day, With famine, plagues and war to stay, …∞… And so we turn our eyes this day, For they were sent long time ago, And sleep and wait and bide their time, And hidden keep their spark un-shined, …∞… And so the warriors now we see, And as the children round them scream, And rulers through the lands they rage, A fire burns their eyes today, …∞… And as they stretch, their hands abreast, And final warnings fail they to see, And as the warriors spread their wings, And weak and old out from the cold. …∞… And now as warriors do take flight, With shining sword they quickly free. And as the sword comes crashing down, For mobs of people dance and sing, …∞… And no longer will we play their tune, For we have seen the truth this day, And as the warriors turn to face, One final warning we provide, And still the kings heed not the call, But long ago it was foretold, So time long past, they finally see, And as they waken from their sleep, These despots who had ruined our day, And as the final battle’s won, For truth and justice they did come. …∞… And long ago and far away, When no more death on Earth there’d be And children laugh and dance and sing, A new day's dawn, for us to bring,
