I think we can all agree that dysfunction usually makes an appearance during a moving experience from one nest to another.
I've had my doubts about this decision.
But let me tell you about a sign that my son and I are doing the right thing.
I love working outdoors in the yard. Living in this apartment for 18 months I've had no yard.
So this spring I created a container patio/garden that I and some of the other residents could see from our windows. It was very pleasant. Every once in awhile when passing by the livingroom window, I would catch a flash of colorful flowers from the place that I created and the heart would just skip a bit with joy.
Well, this last week I moved those plants to my new location. While taking a break and sitting nearby the newly moved garden, a surprise visitor stopped by.
A humming bird. Those plants had not been there one-half hour and then came the humming bird. And it returned, returned, returned.
The property has been empty for a year. There is no ongoing garden there. Yet the humming bird came.
“Fear not. Have no doubts. Trust. See, I send you a sign. This move is no mistake.”
