Intro from John

John said Oct 2, 2008, 6:52 PM:

Hi everyone,
I am here at Meenakshi's inviation. I'm relatively new to Gaia and I love it. It feels like a real sharing going on here.

I'me about to publish my first book and I'm busy learning how to create a website to help promote it. We only got a computer for the first time 2 1/2 years ago, so there has been a huge technological learning curve in place for me. We had conscously chosen to go without a computer because our daughters have been mostly homeschooled and we wanted them to develop a real love of reading. It worked. So now we've leapt back into the modern world.

I recorded a few peace songs in 2003 and I want to make them available on the net. Just the other day I uploaded a song to imeem.com. Now I have to figure out how to place it on my profile page on Gaia so you can all hear it.

I do a one hour weekly radio interview program and I'm also busy editing and uploading archived shows to the net (odeo.com) so that the programs can be heard by anyone with a computer and broadband. That is exciting. I have some amazing guests with positive, outside-the-box messages that should be shared.

Looking forward to getting to know you and continuing to learn.

Love,
John

John, welcome here, with the remarkable experiences and travels and a book to look forward to.

I can't believe it–just introduced to a computer, and already making a website! I'd say there's quite a lot you could add to this thread: Who has started something REALLY BIG after 50?
