What a wonderful day it is today

blewbird said Jun 9, 6:20 AM:

I started out today like a lot of days, reading a book and enjoying the breeze that come through the open window.   Yesterday a very young robin was crying for it's mother help and the mother responded with a worm.   Where is the robin today?   I don't know. Did it learn to fly or did a cat claim it?   The sun is shining and the weather is great.  I am enjoying my cup of coffee and starting a new discussion thread.   What will the day bring?   It's a mystery, but I am going to do what I can to create a good day for myself and for those who I come in contact with.   If I live out this day I will give thanks to my sweetheart(God) for a wonderful day.
                         Rejoice, celebrate and enjoy

What a beautiful thread this is! Just reading it makes me feel it's a wonderful day today. The freshness of the air outside is brought in through the window and meets the refreshing words of a blewbird! Thanks Carlton.

The rains are being kind to Miami, and the drought is lessening. We're fortunate to have clean air to breathe, mangoes and coconuts reminding me of a home in India, and green green green outside the window [with splashes of color]

What a wonderful day it is today! I can hear the delightful shouts of children playing outdoors, enjoying summer as it is meant to be - with friends, minimal planning, and lots of play!

It is a beautiful day here in Victoria. Glorious sunshine, a brisk breeze to keep things comfortable, and fullblown roses suddenly everywhere I look.

I walked a long way round to my errands in Oak Bay Village, chancing down a quiet street I've noticed but never taken. No sidewalks. But someone had taken a wide florescent green marker pen and written something on the road I missed the first time because my eyes were on the trees, the flowers… I backed up and read in wide sprawling letters:

I LOVE YOU ALL.

Still smilin'.

Ruth

Made me smile too! AND smell the roses while allowing the breeze to refresh the senses! Isn't it wonderful? Thanks for sharing this, Ruth.

Thank you Carlton for responding to that Inner Direction the morning of June 9, 2009 to start this thread: “What a Wonderful Day It Is Today.”
Before writing this, I looked up your profile and see that you joined us in GAIA on my 72nd birthday, April 22, 2009.   Welcome!  I am so glad you are here.  You are a blessing to us.

And Ruth!  What a wonderful blessing to see it written on the road as you walked, what never ceases to be said to us:  I LOVE YOU ALL.

You too, are a messenger.  One who tells the Good News.

Thank You.

Joyous Mary

The last day of June 09. Tomorrow a new month a new day. Here in the mountains of north Wales Uk. The sky is a mix of dark blue and grey, a cool breeze is blowing now and then, a storm is expected. But even so, What a glorious moment. The garden is green the strawberries are red and a bird a few hours ago flew into the kitchen,  perched on the table. twittered a little and flew off. the kids are playing football in the field and the dog wants to join in…
Though there are sounds of nature and a few people, one can still hear the silence if caring to listen.  Opps! there goes a wild rabbit and the dog now wants the rabbit, but thankfully too late.. they move fast :)
That the next minute, and the minutes to follow will hold is,  as Carlton says mystery. . So I am going to live in the now, in each minute and enjoy
Blessings, thank you for a wonderful thread.

First of July in Utica Ny! A bit overcast but warm. The air is fresh and I had a wonderful breakthrough with my Tai Chi practice this morning.
I went to my 'sacred grove” at sunrise.
The smell of the grass was intoxicating and the fresh morning air was the same.
