I'm delighted to launch Mike's 60th birthday celebration on 4th July. Living in the wilderness of Arizona, Mike, I guess the fireworks for you will be of the more starry variety. “I'm a contemplative eremite and writer living in the high desert wilderness of N.W. Arizona. … I've been living in the stillness of nature since 1997, I am blessed to be able to do so and give thank's daily! All things are revealed through stillness, when we quiet our minds and open our hearts, the joy of being spontaneously unfolds. I'm living my dream and dancing my joy, and truly hope you are too.” May you have a wonderful birthday among the stars.  |

Thanks to you, Mike, I've learned what eremite means. It fits you to a 't' eremite:a religious hermit living alone, often in the desert. Though come to think of it, does an eremite feel he is alone in the desert, or do you feel a sense of connection in a way that may be missing in a crowded city? And if so - is it with humanity in general or with human beings left behind; or the flora, fauna and… OK, enough questions. I see that Mike hasn't been online for a week and hope he comes by for his celebration. Img srce  |
