This is a biggie. It’s the elephant and we are all the blind humans, each one of us grasping a different piece and finding a wall, a snake, a crystal ball…

Why not just stay potential? What a journey it has been, even our own personal little 14 billion year slice of the eternal pie. 14 billion years of complexifying, complexifying, from oneness to diversity. I am resplendent in divergence! The universe cries. But why? Why diverge? |

I see it in this way: The world, the complex “unknown” womb of potential was ebbing one day as usually had been for millenia and then it created the multitudes of levels of which we are all part. We are specles of this womb, all carrying the code that allows us to reintegrate into its simplicity at the end of our human journey (of one or a million lifetimes) The whole thing is for enterntainment I think, just for the sake of it. We as a unified consciousness developed this elaborate playing field we now live in, ever complexifying to try and mirror the greatness from which we came. It is just a game, a process, an experiment without expected results. And so we are in the same way a reflection of that. We are simple and infinitely complex. And we occasionally strive to be more aware, more in tune with the womb that created us, but ever playful and experimental. Thats the world I live in. :) Katya |

That take on the urge to become, reminds me of when I interviewed Thomas Berry, a wonderful elder and one of the driving forces in the Deep Ecology movement. He said, “The human is that being in whom the universe reflects on celebrates itself and it’s numinou origins in a special mode of consciouss self awareness. So the role of the human, is to celebrate.” |
