Hmm, I've been thinking recently about getting into a relationship.I've been content on my own for a while now, but time for a change :D  Actually thinking on this I did go out Saturday night and met a nice girl.However we only talked for a few moments because she was with friends who were going elsewhere.But a friend of mine does know this particular girl, so the 'opportunity' to meet her again is there :) Either way, even if it isn't her, and it doesn't have to be, I am thankful that I am in a happy loving relationship with the girl of my dreams :D

Sure feels good! :)

I have learned how magnificent it is to awaken to each new day, in love with life. I can now distinguish the difference between loneliness and choosing to be alone. I used to be lonely. Sometimes I was lonely even in a relationship.

Over the past six years of living by myself I have come from a place of loneliness, sadness, and a need for others to fill in these parts of my life, to a place of understanding, happiness, contentment, and inner peace. I have learned to love myself, and in so doing, I now have such a huge love relationship with all that touches my world, from the tiniest flower, invisible to all, save those who know to look, the kindness of a passing stranger, offering to assist me as I struggle with a heavy box, or the heart connected hug of a friend, that brings me to the realization of the love flowing from that person's heart….ohhhh, I could go on and on.

Now I wake up each new day with such a passion for life, an excitement in my being, wondering what adventures the Universe has in store for me for the day. I am on fire with life and vibrancy that affects every person I “touch.”

I was at a meeting last night, and we went around the circle and did a check in. I was the second to last person in line to speak. I explained how my wings had grown so much after a beautiful day of pampering on Mother's Day that I felt as if I was barely touching the ground. They have grown into huge, gossamer wings that twinkle and sparkle in the sunshine. I shared how I can feel my love flow in a circle between all living things, beings, animals, rocks…… I can feel me glowing as I grow and know.

The goddess who spoke next said, “I want what she is experiencing”. There was much joyful laughter, and nods of agreement.

I now live in my river, not fighting the currents, but going with the flow, being one with the energy surrounding me. Now I live blissfully, even through the difficult times. This was a huge lesson for me. It has taken a lifetime of stumbling, and sometimes blindly being sucked into a cold, black vortex. Now, I love me, I know bliss, I love all that is. 

With this new wisdom, I do not carry grudges, or negative feelings. I allow any negative emotions to flow through me, and not allow them to sit in my bones….wow, what freedom this brings. I still sometimes get in others' firing lines, and I still experience hurt, anger, and a myriad of other negative emotions. Now, I look at what I am feeling, I try to work out why I am hurting.. Then I let it go. I choose love. I choose bliss. I now understand that holding negative feelings within is like taking a poison pill.

I never thought people took too much notice of me. Now, I feel their love. Their love brings such brilliance and warmth into my life.

I now live in a focused and an alert state. I try to notice every sweet vibration around me, like a dog sniffing out a bone. I appreciate every breath I take, even in the most dull, boring, and sometimes, sad, moments. I know that there is such a feast of learning and loving to be had, if I look, listen and feel.

My Zen cards on Inner Peace says - Inner Peace brings FULFILLMENT. Attain it, and life works. Give it away, and HAPPINESS becomes elusive.

On Happiness - HAPPINESS comes from within. If you CHOOSE to be happy, no one and no thing can ever take that happiness from you.

On Understanding - What happens to you does not matter; what you BECOME through those experiences is all that is significant. This is the true MEANING of life.

On Contentment - REJOICE in whatever life gives you. Crave nothing else. KNOW that whatever you have been given is for your own highest good.

This is what I am thinking and thanking about. My ahh ahhhh's are many, and flow into me like an incoming tide. I am soooooo thankful to be purposely moving along my path, sometimes running and jumping, sometimes crawling one little step at a time, towards more light and love.

“Stumbling” onto Zaadz is such a gift to me. I have been dreaming of being part of a huge, compassionate, loving, transformational sacred circle for the longest time. My dream came true when the Universe connected me with Brian's vision.

You know what you should do in that situation.Turn and look that person straight in the eye and say to them: “You know I started with nothing!”

That'll get them thinking.Often people see others who are in bliss and think “well they must have gotten a lucky break” “they were born lucky” “they come from a perfect family life” “they were never like us.Ok so now what about us.” They detach themselves, they don't see the solution truly staring them in the face.Catch people when they're laughing, when they're off guard.Use that time to tell them something important, and tell them straight!

And you did start with nothing Jaguar Goddess, like we all did.But you are wise enough to have become aware of guiding your thoughts so that you are in bliss and away from the circumstances that did not serve you.You have the power! and you know it! and you chose to use it for YOU!

After seeing a documentary   Life In The Freezer when i was younger I fell totally in love with Antarctica, and always promised myself I would go there.So today I am thinking about visiting Antarctica and I am thankful that my dream will soon come true :)

Also, I am ALWAYS available to carry your bags to Antarctica. I am entralled by the ice world and the animals that call it home. I have had the good fortune of  meeting two folks who worked in that year long winter wonderland.

I still get hooked on the TV programs on the early explorers in that region, their insanity and the courage.

Least I can do is knit you a furry scarf, Sir. LOL….Give me time though, I am such a slow knitter. Knit one, pearl one, knit one, pearl one……… HOW VERY EXCITING. WOWWWWW.

First off, forgot to link to that documentary I was telling you about: Life In The Freezer!

Highly!!!!! recommend watching it.I also have the book somewhere, which was given to me as a birthday gift when I was 13 or 14.I treasure these gifts :) Yes my friends all wanted the latest super mario game or whatever, but booring! (granted 'double dragon' had me possessed back then for some time though, hehe).Learning about the natural! world is ma thing baby! hehe, :D The school day was bearable knowing that Life In The Freezer was going to be on the TV that evening :)

I've spent a lot of today reading up about Shackleton.I do already know about his story after watching a brilliant documentary a few years ago, plus a drama that came out around the same time: Shackleton - The greatest survival story of all time, starring among others, Kenneth Branagh.Again, highly! recommended.If ever anyone asks you for an inspiring story, just tell them to go and read the story of Shackleton and his men and what they had to endure.It's hard to beat.Whenever I've been trekking and felt a bit tired reaching the summit, Shackleton always comes to mind, and suddenly I don't feel tired at all.Everything seems so easy in comparison.

Funny that you mention that, as I've been thinking on who I could go with, as most people I know prob wouldn't be very interested.Isn't that the fun thing, you see for me it would be an absolute dream come true.Yet others would rather lie on a beach for two weeks and get sunburnt.It's great, we don't all want the same things!! woohoo! They can have their deck chairs and ice creams, I'll have my woolly hat and penguins :D And JG, it'd be cool to go there with you! for sure! ;) Having read up on the trips there, I see that you can get to meet scientists working there, which would really be cool to see what they get up to.And having a friend to share the experience with would be awesome!

Start knitting that scarf now JG, then it'll be ready for when we go, hehe :D

This is my first addition to the pod.  Thanks for inviting me Flex.  (I am thankful for that!)  :) 
I am appreciative of so much today, so very much. 

This evening after work, I took in the sun and went for a ride on my horse.  I rode her through the cattle and I was so thankful for the quietness of the moment.  I noticed every little detail, like I was going through the motions for the last time.  You know, if you think of every moment like that, just imagine what every single one would mean to you.  Every little detail would resonate in your mind and you would appreciate everything from the sound of the meadowlarks to the scent in the air.  Think of the changes in conversations with friends or loved ones.   You would say what is in your heart.  

Can you just imagine???

Thankyou for an absolutely amazing first post, truly a beautiful! being expressing beautiful words.I can picture you now in the scene you described, and I can hear those meadowlarks.How lovely.The 'wild' west has always intrigued me since studying it in school.There must be so many blessings there.The open spaces, that sense of freedom, horses instead of cars (well maybe it's not all like that :D ).Or then again I'll shut up, because of course you'd be much better to tell us :) So please do!

Yet again this pod has truly attracted the best. The advice you give about appreciating the moment is spot on Nicole, I practise it in life, and I really cannot agree more.So I'll just keep it simple and AGREE! :) hehe.I appreciate that I have met yet another masterful appreciator, a lover of life, Nicole :)

I am here……I just had the plumbers out yesterday for the fifth time. They were here for 8 plus hours yesterday. I have had my porcelain potty unceremoniously tossed on my front garden four times. This time they dug up my new place like a herd of gophers, or tomb robbers. At last I am freeeeeeeeeeee to roam my new intsy nest, alone,  in love and tranquility.

Flexy……I will start on your scarf as soon as I finish the one on my needles for my goddess daughter.

OK, where do we sign up for penguin land???? 

Letz not forget Peary, Amundsen, Scott, and all the dozens of folks who had the dream, and mostly perished following their dream. Here's to courageous visionaries.

Neat! “the deafening silence in the pause between 'i hate you - i love you'” I almost want to say “Where did you come up with that?” But being that we are holographic, and the All That Is is within us, I know it came from  the Divine nature within you, where there is no “where” or no “when.”

The very existence of the Life within my body, within my soul, is so wonderful, such an awesome gift, that it's almost too hard to take in! Thankfully, that very Life quietly, patiently, keeps on giving It and allows me to take my time with It.
