Surround me

sgmrphne. [no longer around] said Oct 11, 2006, 1:39 AM:

i thought of opening a thread that everyone can post random observances in their daily life.. if any, i appreciate being a witness to these beautiful, common and often mislooked things. :D
i'll post a couple to start it off~

- seeing a construction worker taking a break and sitting atop an unbuilt roof, facing the sunrise playing a guitar

- seeing a woman use her baby's sock to keep family neo-prints (tiny sticker prints of photos)

- watching a mentally-unstable beggar dancing in public to music we can't hear

I saw a young busker in town by the train station the other day, playing his guitar. He looked so blissful, eyes shut most of the time, singing away without seemingly a care in the world.
Made me smile as we passed him by.I found it to be an uplifting site among all the shoppers rushing along to buy their 'things' lol!

The Autumn skies here have been brilliant! The other day I looked out of my window, from right where I'm sitting now, and saw the most marvelous pink sky.Within minutes of the sun setting the pink sky had turned to grey clouds, the most beautiful grey coloured clouds I have ever seen. One may not think of grey as being a particularly beautiful colour, but somehow this was, captivating, striking, breathtaking.

Oh and then for a few hundred geese to come out of nowhere and fly above, just beneath the clouds, quacking away, was icing on the cake.

Cheers!

Today I was looking at very beautiful clouds in the sky,
I was enraptured by the beauty of the blue,
then all of a sudden I see a subtle and amazing rainbow emerge.
