Chart Configurations and Strong or Focal Planets

     I thought I might start a discussion regarding nuts and bolts interpretations to get a ball rolling.  I'm intrigued by both Aspect Patterns and Marc Edmund Jones Chart Types.  These comprise one of the first thing my mind zeroes in on as I see a chart.  I just found one recently with a Bowl pattern with Mars opposite Jupiter as the rim planets.  Jupiter happens to not only be the Cutting planet but also the chart Ruler with a Sagittarius Ascendant.   This 5th House Jupiter in Taurus is Biquintile Saturn exalted in the 9th H Libra position and Jupiter is also biquintile the Ascendant which as it stands to reason is also Quintile Saturn.  I believe by the reckoning of some of my cohorts on an Astrology forum elsewhere this makes a type of Golden Triangle of sorts.  I think one might have even thought of it as a type of Yod but in my mind that is reserved solely for a 150° quincunx. 

     What makes this especially intriguing is that I utilize Chiron which is in the Ascendant but in Capricorn opposing a 7th H stellium in Cancer.  This brings in a Funnel into play or as MEJ would say, a Bucket Handle.  This is really interesting because Chiron is disposited by the 9th H Saturn involved in the aforementioned Triangle of 5th harmonic aspects.  This chart happens to be of a Psychic medium with Mercury in Cancer as well only further on into the 8th H at 29° in the Anaretic degree understood by some astrologers to indicate the Psychic influence particularly since it's in the 8th H in Cancer.

     Personally I have shared interpretations for both a bowl and funnel expecting that the Funnel(or Bucket) are only experienced as an individual responds from the higher end of the natal character since Chiron isn't a basic planet but more spiritual, emotional and developmental.  I choose that blend to allow natives to choose how they will  process these energies.  Have any of you ever considered using Chiron this way?

     Has anyone got any other intriguing Focal planets or Aspect configurations?

             Have a stellium of Mars at 8:43, Sun at 16:38, Venus at 19:02 and Mc thrown in there abouts, at, i think, at aprox 15:55, all Virgo in 10th.
Also, Sun closely sextiling Saturn at 16:40 Scorpio with Caoricorn rising.

Any thoughts you might care to share ?

The 10th House refers to both career and reputation as well as the parent of the same gender.  As  for Virgo I’m very fond of the thought that it reflects the ability to winnow through the chaff of details and save the kernels of all that is most vitally important.  Alluding to harvest is where this originates.
