Time of Death Charts

      I personally like to call these Transition Charts. I've only heard of these in passing or briefly mentioned. It seems people don't discuss them much and I'd love to know what most people think of the idea.

     I think these charts are to show something of the afterlife and also perhaps the nature of the passing. Many times people wonder about the accuracy of older records of time of birth of public figures which of course alters the ascendant. I recently started paying attention to the time of death in people's lives. It seems odd on one hand but also it seems timed with considerable curiosity. You see, Pluto is hovering around my Vertex. Since it's a slow moving planet this is an influence that lingers. I've paid attention to the death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett because they both died on the same day which oddly enough was actually my Sister Lisa's Birthday. I don't recall MJ's time but wrote it down somewhere. Another strange coincidence is that my Grandmother who died last year also died on June 1st, but at the same time as Farrah Fawcett at 9:28 am. Coincidences like these really make me wonder and tend to reinforce my piqued interest.

      Tell me, what does everyone here think of these charts and what they might show.

The 10th House refers to both career and reputation as well as the parent of the same gender. As for Virgo I'm very fond of the thought that it reflects the ability to winnow through the chaff of details and save the kernels of all that is most vitally important. Alluding to harvest is where this originates.

Hey Luna,

Does the opposite or far midpoint also reflect somehow in the data?

Personally I've noticed the house of my Sun/Moon Midpoint is even more telling. That point falls in Libra in my 3rd House and I'm always connecting with people who enjoy communicating although if I consider the Aries/Libra axis for either Sun Signs or Ascendants and the 3rd/9th House axis I do find people around me into many ideas both practical for everyday(3rdH) and Universal(9thH) and some folks with strong 1st/7th House emphasis as well.

Hi Dan and Everyone Else,

I recall in the past year or so reading an article regarding work being done on 4 of the newer celestial bodies. It included Juno, Vesta, Ceres and Pallas (Athena). It's been sometime but here in a nutshell is what I recall the cited research discovering:

Juno = Marriage and how we view it and our urge toward the union. Of Course Juno as Zeus' Queen is a great springboard for interpretations.
Vesta = The Flame of Spirit reflecting our Soul at its core of Being. This was mentioned as the root of the word "Vestal" for Temple Virgins responsible for Keeping the Fire lit and all the Spiritual implications this entails.
Ceres = Motherhood and Nurturing is key here as it reflects both the mothering we've received and the Nurturing we deliver to others. Men of course can choose to add to a hospitable environment around them and this bears on them in this way as well.
Pallas = Wisdom and maybe talent but also from Athena's rule as Goddess of War this also reflects where we will take a stand on issues to defend Truth and perhaps be willing to fall on our swords for a cause.

These are sadly unable in my memory to be connected with an author of the article from Dell Horoscope. Perhaps other members and Astrologers might recognize the reference.

Saturn and Karma

I've recently been doing considerable Past Life Work for myself. In so doing I was intuitively led to stop during a busy time at work at our local Half Priced Bookstore which only carries what patrons have brought in and is often only there for a time. I felt very blessed to locate a book by Jeanne Avery regarding Past Lives and the Hard Aspects to Saturn which for these purposes include the conjunction, semi-square, square, sesquisquare, inconjunct, and opposition. I recently discovered another minor aspect given attention by Noel Tyl of 165° that I make note of when I look at a chart for Hard Saturn Aspects as well for this study.

If anyone has interest or familiarity with this subject of either Past Lives or Saturn as an indicator of experience it would be great to get feedback from others here. Too, any input on the 165° aspect would be nice also.

When it comes to light bulbs I'm very Piscean... My moon is in Pisces. I've always felt more Piscean than Capricorn, but I'm slowly groing into my sun sign. I've got Cancer rising, so I can be like that too... but years of councelling have done wonders! :-D

Hi all,
Have a stellium of Mars at 8:43, Sun at 16:38, Venus at 19:02 and Mc thrown in there abouts, at, i think, at aprox 15:55, all Virgo in 10th.
Also, Sun closely sextiling Saturn at 16:40 Scorpio with Caoricorn rising.
Placements available in chart facility.

Any thoughts you might care to share ?

If it is possible to place a chart there , could you let me know please.

Hey All! I am a humble and sincere student and practitioner of vedic astrology for the past 6 years. I am curious if anyone here is practising both approaches, vedic and western and what some of your insights, connections, inspirations may be. I had my chart interpreted many times in the western system and have been blessed with gifted astrologers, but something happened when I had it done according to the vedic system and before I knew it, I had purchased a small library , acquired a fanatstic mentor and received blessings from Holy Lord Saturn and Holy Lord Mars....in many ways it seemed to pick me though I have been devoted to the ride ever since.! A very intense and precise science is astrology and my hat is off to any and all who have commited to this path. Very happy to connect and share. Ok, here's my birth info- October 26, 1976 at 8:49 pm in Susanville, CA, the elder of twins by fault. I had started to breath inside the womb, due to my sisters' body pressing up against the umbilical cord, and even though she was ahead of me to come out they pulled her back and let me come out first instead. (yes, sadly, this has actually been cause of dischord between us) Supposedly I nearly died.

I do wonder if my dad ever wished that providence had let me die. I know he believes if a child is born dead then it was meant to be and should simply be accepted, but it's most likely a blow from God that one is meant to accept but doesn't like. It would have been so much easier for them all if I'd not been there, the vocal one, the opinionated one, the individual. What would it be like to be my father? THe guilt he would feel for wishing I wasn't born. How did he pastor for so many years? HOw could he do something he didn't like for that long? Where was his joy from? He always seemed just barely there, mentally and emotionally somewhere else, his existence much too grim to bear. I never understood. He never said. Always stoic and silent unless angered. How unhappy he must have been. How much he cared not for himself for him to treat others so harshly and coldly. He spent so much of his life doing what he didn't like, for what? All of a sudden he's older and what's he going to do when he can't work anymore? WHo will take care of him? The idea of being helpless and not prepared could have him panicked. I feel for him. Compassion.

Well, this is extra, but it apparantly had to come out and I feel to erase it would be of no value. If anyone is compelled to comment feel free. Mayhaps someone is meant to know this of me.

Perhaps you might either submit either a detailed chart or birth data so we might get a picture for anyone to interpret from their individual perspectives. I picked up an interest in the mid-point sign between Sun and Moon and how it applies to the signs that a person would be drawn to.
What really pulled me into that area was the first book on astrology that I got. It mentioned that the mid-point signs cause a magnatism.
I checked my mid-points, Capricorn & Cancer.....what I found was that what this book stated was true in my case. My last 3 relationships had all been Capricorns and most of my good friends, Cancers. A friend & I where having a conversation about relationships and she said, what is it with you and Capricorns? So I told her about the mid-point thing. She asked me what her mid-point was, so we figured it out. Then she rattled off the birthdays of her past serious relationships and she got 3 out of 4.
I have read a little about houses and relationships, locations of Moon in a male chart and Sun in a females, and that has a small bit of play in the charts I have looked at, I still find the mid-point to be more impressive.

This pod is a great idea. I think dissecting chart would be fun.....Gandhi's for example. Some folks might have second thoughts about their entire chart being public, but I DO like the mad scientist aspect of it. The commonalities and differences between people with some of the same characteristics helps to isolate influences and get a better feel for signs, planets and houses. I'm generationally (Mom) and self taught. Now it's like "mental furniture", to coin one of her phrases.

How many here either pay attention to or look for Astrological Indicators of Psychic abilities or phenomenon? Is anyone curious if their charts contain any?
