Time of Death Charts

      I personally like to call these Transition Charts. I've only heard of these in passing or briefly mentioned. It seems people don't discuss them much and I'd love to know what most people think of the idea.

     I think these charts are to show something of the afterlife and also perhaps the nature of the passing. Many times people wonder about the accuracy of older records of time of birth of public figures which of course alters the ascendant. I recently started paying attention to the time of death in people's lives. It seems odd on one hand but also it seems timed with considerable curiosity. You see, Pluto is hovering around my Vertex. Since it's a slow moving planet this is an influence that lingers. I've paid attention to the death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett because they both died on the same day which oddly enough was actually my Sister Lisa's Birthday. I don't recall MJ's time but wrote it down somewhere. Another strange coincidence is that my Grandmother who died last year also died on June 1st, but at the same time as Farrah Fawcett at 9:28 am. Coincidences like these really make me wonder and tend to reinforce my piqued interest.

      Tell me, what does everyone here think of these charts and what they might show.

Both my moon and ascendant are in Scorpio. I like to look beneath the surface for sure and I'm a shy, though not in the conventional, stereotypical way. I like meaningful exchange and love looking at the dark side as a learning tool for growth and transformation

The 10th House refers to both career and reputation as well as the parent of the same gender. As for Virgo I'm very fond of the thought that it reflects the ability to winnow through the chaff of details and save the kernels of all that is most vitally important. Alluding to harvest is where this originates.

It might also be intriguing to note how the House overlayed by Aquarius and ruled Uranus might also be influenced by these characteristics and too, how it influences your first impressions you make on others.

Uranus here makes me naturally weird and eccentric, but I don't try to be, it just happens! Very enthusiastic, young at heart, doesn't conform to the stereotypes, freedom loving, "crazy", high energy, need for action, highly sexual.

12th House

I have my Moon and Pluto conjunct in the 12th house in Libra, with a Libra rising. This gives me a need to spend time alone everyday in order to rebalance and nurture myself. Also creates some hidden tension, or should I say, frustration and an interest/wanting to understand in the undercurrents of life/the subconscious.

I have my Taurus Sun and Mercury in Gemini in the 8th house... I have always felt more mature, I preferred spending time with adults when I was a child.. but at the same time I am very young at heart. I have been fascinated with sex, death, the paranormal, mysteries of the world, and anything mystical since I was a child. I have psychic experiences from time to time, have telepathy quite regularly, and can feel and hear spirits. But I also have a very strong 12th house, so that might contribute to it.

Talk a mile a minute... have tons of interests.... have a genuine love of meeting new people without any intentions other than curiosity... get bored easily... I love my Mercury in Gemini!

I love my Mars in Cancer! It gives deep sensitivity with the heart of a poet... and a great sense of humor! Some of the best comedians are Cancers or have some planet in Cancer.

I am a Taurus with Moon in Libra. I have the Taurus tough on the outside, soft on the inside going on, but then the Libra soft on the outside, tough on the inside going on as well! Very weird, but good to have! Delicate but strong!

I have a friend who is Pisces with Moon in Virgo. He was also born on a full moon. Pisces and Virgo are opposite signs, which can create some tension. What does it feel like for you to be a Pisces/Virgo?

Libra Ascendant

Artistic, peaceful, fair, gentle, and tough! Balance is everything, but when things are off balance, which is unavoidable in life, you don't feel well. My Moon and Pluto are also in Libra in the 12th house. So it is harder to separate my Rising from my Moon.

Does the opposite or far midpoint also reflect somehow in the data?

Personally I've noticed the house of my Sun/Moon Midpoint is even more telling. That point falls in Libra in my 3rd House and I'm always connecting with people who enjoy communicating although if I consider the Aries/Libra axis for either Sun Signs or Ascendants and the 3rd/9th House axis I do find people around me into many ideas both practical for everyday(3rdH) and Universal(9thH) and some folks with strong 1st/7th House emphasis as well.

Hi Dan and Everyone Else,

I recall in the past year or so reading an article regarding work being done on 4 of the newer celestial bodies. It included Juno, Vesta, Ceres and Pallas (Athena). It's been sometime but here in a nutshell is what I recall the cited research discovering:

Juno = Marriage and how we view it and our urge toward the union. Of Course Juno as Zeus' Queen is a great springboard for interpretations.
Vesta = The Flame of Spirit reflecting our Soul at its core of Being. This was mentioned as the root of the word "Vestal" for Temple Virgins responsible for Keeping the Fire lit and all the Spiritual implications this entails.
Ceres = Motherhood and Nurturing is key here as it reflects both the mothering we've received and the Nurturing we deliver to others. Men of course can choose to add to a hospitable environment around them and this bears on them in this way as well.
Pallas = Wisdom and maybe talent but also from Athena's rule as Goddess of War this also reflects where we will take a stand on issues to defend Truth and perhaps be willing to fall on our swords for a cause.

These are sadly unable in my memory to be connected with an author of the article from Dell Horoscope. Perhaps other members and Astrologers might recognize the reference.

Saturn and Karma

I've recently been doing considerable Past Life Work for myself. In so doing I was intuitively led to stop during a busy time at work at our local Half Priced Bookstore which only carries what patrons have brought in and is often only there for a time. I felt very blessed to locate a book by Jeanne Avery regarding Past Lives and the Hard Aspects to Saturn which for these purposes include the conjunction, semi-square, square, sesquisquare, inconjunct, and opposition. I recently discovered another minor aspect given attention by Noel Tyl of 165° that I make note of when I look at a chart for Hard Saturn Aspects as well for this study.

If anyone has interest or familiarity with this subject of either Past Lives or Saturn as an indicator of experience it would be great to get feedback from others here. Too, any input on the 165° aspect would be nice also.

Two more deaths have occurred but not so close this time. My grand uncle and a dormer co-worker. I still see Pluto and Scorpio here. Capricorn not so much.

yeah, uranus tipped into that 8th house then retro'd back into the 7th ... i'm actually very excited to see what happens when it moves direct again and finally stays in that 8th house for good.

i don't know if you've study any of carl payne tobey or not ... but he's theories and concepts are quite interesting and i am finding that i am resonating with his thoughts. the 8th house in particular, becomes not ruled by scorpio, but by capricorn. it helped some of my understanding of that Rx Saturn in that house make a bit more sense. i'll write more about it after i read the chapter on it again ... its all so new i haven't really fully digested all of the meaning of what he's writing quite yet ... fascinating stuff, though.

very interesting configuration you have ... i have pluto-sun-uranus stellium in virgo with venus-asc-jupiter stellium in leo ... makes for a fun ride!

Hi!

My Rx Saturn and Rx Chiron are in conjunction within 5° so I feel you. They're opposite My Virgo stellium of Venus-Uranus and Pluto all T-Square my Moon-PoF-S.Node in Sag as the focal Planet in the 4th House as the base of my psyche. So, Boy oh boy, I feel you.

Pursuing the 8th House issue of Depth in Life has sufficiently provided a "controlled" outlet for much but loss has occurred in the form of people leaving my circle after finding deep connections with them. While I've come to accept this I feel I stopped connecting as much recently and that's when March through June sent death my way considerably via 3 individuals in my immediate family. Uranus has entered that house as you may have noticed. It's been a real roller coaster complete with screaming lately and not the fun kind.

On the flip side, as a minister my greatest rewards seem to be caring for the bereaved, but lately that's been on hold for my own journey.

i too have saturn (Rx) in pisces (actually) and aries (tropically); and chiron (Rx) in pisces in either calculation ... both in that 8th house ... what kind of torture are pisces planets in that 8th house?!!!

as for the death thing ... i find do a lot of help with people who are transitioning from this life to the next. i didn't really notice that i did that until someone pointed it out to me.

i study leonard orr and have absolute conviction that just as every thing in life on earth is a choice, death is one as well. i do not believe, like leonard orr and others teach, that physical death is the inevitable outcome of our human existence.
