why are some people successful and others not? there aremany answers… but which one is right.. lets consider some of the more popular ones: -successful people get better oppotunities -people who do not succeed have bad backgrounds -education makes all the difference -failure results from bad breaks -some people are smart; others aren't -lazy people dont succeed now, how true are these statements? i think we made up these excuses for ourself to make it ok if we dont succeed. But isnt the simple answer that more likely negative people, who dont broaden their horizon, are the ones who lose at the end of the day?! If you start thinking big-picture.. looking at you”problems” from different angles.. different perspectives and peoples eyes..dont you think you will be able to start think in solutions and possibilities? i dont think so. i know so! big-picture is futuristic, the present and the past from one united viewpoint, so i believe. now what do you think will increase the odds for your success? small thinking or big-picture? scattered thinking or focused thinking? restrictive thinking or creative thinking? fantasy thinking or realistic thinking? random thinking or strategic thinking? limited thinking or possibility thinking? impulsive thinking or reflective thinking? popular thinking or innovative thinking? solo thinking or shared thinking? selfish thinking or unselfish thinking? wishful thinking or bottom-line thinking? to be succesful you need to think your way to the top, start now!! and if you fail.. fail forward fast!! you live and you learn.. try to live longer and learn faster!! today matters!! lets be go-getters together.. for one mind is powerful.. a group of alike thinking minds unstoppable! lets discover our possibilities together and grow. |

Coming from a background in the Arts, many of these ideas are well practiced, however most of my piers, myself included tend not to be bottom line thinkers, or thinkers who always share. These are two attributes I am changing about myself in an effort to be a better Artrepreneur (Visit and join my pod if you are an Artrepreneur or Entrepreneur who loves the arts). I appreciate any reflections or thoughts people with more traditional business backgrounds can share with artists about making a succesful business out of ones creativity. |
