Hey out there,

what are some creative ideas to get pod membership?
are there any structural changes that could be to get the waters tested on a good pod. In other words, rather than being a slave to the marketing concept, couldn't do one step better, and find a way to promote a product without it being simply the will of the promotor (benefactor), and more based on the mertis of the pod? Yes, I know a pod will take off, if it is good. Great in theory. But we all know that popularity is a large reason things gain popularity, and it has names: the MAIN stream, the grid, the matrix, etc. How does TRUE innovation make its way into the fabric, rather than simple moneymaking, and generating enterprises. I hope I can find some agreement here that new fresh ways might really help here. finally, yes, I am speaking in general terms about marketing and ideas, but I am also speaking about promoting a pod (the seedling idea).

thanks Karuna. feel free to link from ZLounge to this Bulletin Board. ZLounge wasn't originally intended to replace this rockin' pod. however, since ZLounge is expected to be the central passing station of more Zaadzsters in the future, i think it makes sense to put a Bulletin Board there too :)

This pod is going to take the place of the Bulletin Board.

It will be more of everything you want in a community Bulletin Board pod, and will be more comprehensive and much better "poderated". My intention with Bulletin Board was to provide a forum for a Community Billboard until something more formal came along.

Pimp Your Zaanghas With zEvents!

Dear Zaadzsters,

~C4 here at your service.

I'm currently hyper-zipping around infiltrating Zaangha pods and checking up on all the good stuff that are happening in the Zaadz cyberspace. And man! We're growing like wild mushrooms right now! This pod is testament to our hyper-growth.

I'm sure most of you are already familiar by now with our latest functionality called zEvents. This new functionality empowers everyone to organize any event. People are already using it to organize Zaanghas, beach parties, and even for their own personal use.

And get this: zEvents is a perfect tool for pimpin' out your Zaanghas! :)

Here's how to add your events:

Go to http://events.zaadz.com
Click on Add or just head over directly to http://events.zaadz.com/new
Fill out all the necessary fields such as Title, Subtitle, Description, Date, Time,
To add a location, click on Add New Venue, then fill out all the address fields.
Make sure to tag your events so that people can easily find them! For example, tag it with “Zaangha” for Zaangha events and/or make up your own tags!
You can also optionally upload an image to your event.
Finally, be sure to categorize your events so it would be classified and displayed accordingly on the zEvents page, and for easy searching.

That's it! Piece of cake!

Absolutely a must have feature in Zaadz.
Should be just like the blog posts, where you can chose to hide, show to friends, or show to the world.
