Phone Buddies - Get and Give Support

I'm a founding member of a community called Phone Buddies (www.phone-buddies.com) that helps members exchange free half hour phone sessions with each other for spiritual/psychic guidance, compassionate listening, and four other types of peer-to-peer counseling. (Guidelines for using the techniques are taught within the community, but mostly it is about listening with an open heart and mind).  The community is totally confidential, with no last names used and location only down to country and state.

It's a small community (about 50 members) but a loving and supportive one, and we welcome new members. It's targeted towards women due to the girl talk we already do, but men are welcome too.  About a quarter of the members are professional counselors, but that definitely isn't a requirement.

Phone Buddies isn't therapy and it isn't crisis line counseling either. It's also something more supportive than a message board or chatroom. For one thing it isn't limited to written messages. There is something much deeper about hearing another person's voice and also voicing your own concerns, and exchanging written messages just doesn't reach that level of support.

Anyway, hope you'll check it out and consider joining.
