Spiritual Social Action Focus: To actualize the stewardship and well-being of our sacred Earth and its diverse inhabitants through our collective vision of a new consciousness.

2008 Affirmation

We believe in the power of Life. It expresses itself in myriad ways and is sacred in all forms. Our unity and interdependence evidences itself as the diversity of life, intelligence, and substance. We seek to understand divine design. Immersed in the growing consciousness of our true nature, we align our desires, actions, systems, and vision with the principles of universal law.

Ideas of entitlement, domination, profiteering, exploitation, and hierarchy are now erased from human consciousness. We atone for the senseless neglect, misuse, and abuse of our mother earth and her majestic inhabitants. Ideas and ideals of collaboration, innovation, sacred awareness, and discernment replace old ways of being as we collectively establish dominion over obsolete, limited, and myopic perspectives.

As ambassadors of wisdom, we steward our earth and all of its living inhabitants. With spiritual integrity, we embody compassion acknowledging that animals are worthy of each dignity we seek for ourselves. From the core of the earth to the expanse of our atmosphere, polar regions to national parks, waterways to farmlands, marketplace to dining table, we consciously create a world that works for all. Harmony is our intention, wisdom our currency, discernment our path, integrity our foundation, and unity our inheritance.

We immerse our word in gratitude as we release it unto law.

We believe in a harmonious life for the children of the world. We see all children who are affected by war, poverty and disease protected by a holy light. This light guides them on paths of peace, prosperity and wholeness.

Our vision transforms any appearance to the contrary. It is stronger than lack and mightier than circumstance. The infinite power of Spirit is present within, healing all hurt, radiating love in the face of loss, and revealing a center of wholeness from which we emerge as a true community.

An environment of safety, support and spiritual nourishment is established through expected and unexpected sources. There is more than enough inspired leadership, insight, compassion and commitment to demonstrate this vision. We see the living Spirit of Grace made manifest now.

Thoughts on Affirmation

Hi everyone. First, thank you for the opportunity to fully express love and peace through this affirmation. The change is already done.

I have to be honest that at first the affirmation did not sit right with me. I am used to praying and affirming in different ways ie. instead of "We believe the children of Africa..." I would normally say "The children of Africa..." but I have to say that when I read the whole thing and sat with it for awhile, only love and peace were in my heart and that sits with me very very well.

I will check the website soon and share it with the staff here at Unity on the Bay and see all the beauty that comes from it.

We believe in a better life for the children of Africa. They are perfectly created in the image of the Infinite. We identify the children of Africa with health and vitality of mind, body, and spirit.

We deny any thought of limitation, known and unknown, which may obstruct their good. Together we erase all false opinions that there are not enough resources. Right here, right now, we discontinue fueling thoughts of sadness, lack and limitation.

We affirm the children of Africa are a radiating magnet, mighty to attract their good. There is more than enough passion, policy and prosperity to demonstrate this vision. We see the living Spirit of Wisdom manifesting in their lives now.
