Pelosi - Gingrich team up for Climate Change

Saw something last night that was right up there with the Pope meeting minds with the Dalai Lama….

There's a commercial out with Newt Gingrich and Nancy Pelosi advertising for the Alliance for Climate Protection at weacansolveit.org (part of a larger campaign).  What an eye opener, especially after the conversation from last week about government.  Just another friendly reminder from my personal reality  police not to be so cynical about politics, as I have a tendency towards cynicism. 

Is this old news?  I don't remember hearing about the ads before.  I'm very impressed by the bi-partisanship being displayed in the commercial and I'd like some feedback as to the organization, as I don't know much about the Alliance for Climate Protection. Has anyone got any feedback on that?  I haven't had time to do the research, I'm just posting to see if anyone else has.
