World Crisis and Conscious Change

Annisa said Dec 29, 2006, 9:55 PM:

Our world and the human race are facing an unprecedented time of CRISIS. We're racing down a destructive path at breakneck speed. How can we put on the brakes? Will we crash into an evolutionary wall or will we bounce and go on, in a new direction? That's what this video from Global-MindShift asks: Bounce or Crash?

What can be done?  How do we save our Earth?  How can we live together sustainably?

These are the questions we are addressing at How to Save the World.

If saving the world is your passion, too, join us.

In view of the increasing evidence of what Colin Mason originally described in his 2030 Spike
it is perhaps encouraging to read that our leaders may be waking up to the global problem
- but from an individual point of view a read of Colin Mason's update is an absolute must - as it provides a template of pragmatic solutions to ALL of the problems which we face - NOT just climate change - in the context of his two  MOST IMPORTANT AXIOMS - axioms to which I feel that  How to Save the World are genuinely commited - and can be found at the bottom of this page

Michael, you've really got my attention now.

These are the axioms to which Michael refers:

Axiom 1

Useful change is likely to come only if it can provide as, equal, obvious and general a benefit as possible

Axiom 2

If proposed solutions don't take the lowest common denominators of human nature reallistically into account, they will not work

And, yes, there is more to saving the world, or more correctly – Our Place In The World, than just stopping climate change.  There are many components which need to be addressed simultaneously, which we are trying to address at How to Save the World? and we'll take all the help we can muster up.  We're trying to find practical, implementable solutions to the problems we're facing.  Come over and check it out!

And Michael, I'm looking forward to hearing more from you regarding these axioms and this book.  :~)
