Collective Wisdom: The Library of Community Threads

Buried treasure. Wasted wisdom. Have you ever read a thread on Gaia Community and wished it could be turned into a book or article and shared with the world, because so much wisdom was represented and presented there?

This pod/Group calls attention to, and honors, and shares, these threads. This pod/Group is a library (more than...(more)

Death

debyemm said Aug 21, 2008, 3:20 PM:

I started this thread under Daily Living Aspects in the Living Metaphysics pod because I was facing the imminent death of my FIL last fall.  It was an amazing experience that will stay with me the rest of my life.  We were able to honor his wishes and he stayed in his home next door to us on our farm until the morning of his death.  This thread began just a few days before he died.

At the same time, I just happened to have the book ”Home with God - In A Life That Never Ends” by Neale Donald Walsch and so, I began to read it for some comfort.  I found his insights playing out in my real life and comment upon that as well.  OM felt strongly that this should be included here and I have no objection, except that I have never finished my work on that thread.  Still, there is much to read there and the conversation ranged wide and far …

You can read the entire thread and the comments by other members here -
