Oh, Mother Goddess
and all of my soul's ancestors

Help me to finally know myself,
To see through my own eyes,
And to close them and trust the motion of the boat.

Bring me to a place where
I can shine and the gift of my uniqueness
can be a joy to me.

Show me when I am on the right path.
Nellie, show me again that hiding is unnecessary.
Sue, remind me that I create my own experience
and that bumps in the road keep me sharp.
Nancy, give me the grace to do it my way.

Mothers and sisters, I feel you with me often
and I am grateful for the gifts of discovery we have -- together-- placed in my path,
and the gifts created by my wake.

Guide me to my place in the world where
I can truly shine and the gift of my uniqueness
can be my joy.
