Metal for the Spirit

My fiance gave me a wonderful compliment the other day: “You are the most passionate metalhead I've ever known in my twelve years of being on the scene.  Heavy metal is part of your soul.”

Seems odd to some people, but totally natural to me.  I love all types of underground metal.  It's the soundtrack to my life, and that's what I write to; lately I've been listening to a lot of the gentler gothic or doom styles whilst at the keyboard.  Makes for a good atmosphere.
