Brain Connects Spirit

Most of us think the brain is about science, but my discoveries prove the brain is about spirit. My gift to the world is a synthesis of the ancient Qabalah and modern brain science. I've written my first book, The Secret Dowry of Eve, a retranslation of Genesis as a journey through the brain. I'm working on my second book now.

I discovered that the human brain contains its history of evolution. It's really a four-part brain, mirroring the reptilian, mammalian, hominid, human journey.  In our daily lives most of us use the reptilian, mammalian and hominid cortexes frequently, but not the human cortex. It sits directly behind the forehead and contains all our uniquely human traits. Those traits are mostly spiritual in nature: intention, solving problems, planning for the future, clarifying emotional patterns, gaining wisdom through insight, integrating the three other cortexes into the authentic human agenda. The human cortex is the one that calls to us to find ourselves, to discover our true depths, to challenge our traditional ideas, to seek a higher purpose, to complete ourselves, to leave behind the old, boring, unfulfilling existence that tries to claim us.

The human cortex is referred to in scientific terms as the frontal lobe. It is the only portion of the brain that is uniquely human, that evolved when we did. It's what makes us human, but we know virtually nothing about it because, like quantum physics, it doesn't operate by the same laws as the other three cortexes, which are much older and take up much more room in the brain case. We are like Cinderella, enslaved by that step-family of cortexes with its neurochemistry of greed, fear, territory, soap opera emotions and rational rhetoric. The frontal lobe is our fairy-godmother who grants our wishes for a new life, new meaning, new purpose, new direction, new identity. The frontal lobe is all about growth, potential, vision and intention. If the human race can get this one idea about itself it would revolutionize how we perceive ourselves.

I'm trying to broadcast these ideas in my book(s) and writings. My webpage is www.edenmind.com

Thanks for letting me share it, Glynda-Lee
