Assignment - Music Muse

This is a great suggestion from Wolf:

Play a piece of music - maybe choose something randomly - I'd suggest something that doesn't have lyrics or has lyrics in a language you cannot understand. 
Let yourself breathe a bit as you listen, sinking into the moment, let images/feelings/ sensations arise, not 'thinking' about what to write,  just letting the sensations/images arise and start typing/writing.

Don't edit as you write… just see what happens. See if you can go into a specific scene - or make sure you give specific details, get up really close inside whatever world you find yourself in, go 'fearward' :-)

If the song/track is over, you can simply keep repeating it, or let it move onto the next track. If however you are onto a strong thread of something inspired by the original music and find repeating it or putting on a new track is distracting, turn off the music and just keep writing.

Write for 20 minutes at least.

Post the work up on the Responses to Assignment board, do not edit what you have written.

I've just re-read Wolf's suggestion, which was a bit different - you can choose whatever way feels 'right' - his suggestion was to just listen to the piece of music, and then when it is finished, write.
