Light Painting Creativity Class Taught at Baldwin High School

I was invited to teach a class on my light painting technique at a local high school here on Maui. It was an amazing and enlightening (pun intended) experience.  We shot video of my presentation and about half of the 45 kids and teachers became very passionate about participating in making art in thin air using flashlights and colored gels!

I will post more here about my experience ( and how I had to use 3D glasses to bribe students out of their seats) soon. I will also point you to the movie we made, once edited and combined with the photographs the kids painted of their paintings with light, that documents this first forray in bringing my art to institutionalized learning environments.
