This morning, a gentle feeling… a cosmic nudge to sit and be still. Closing my eyes and feeling the familiar wrap of sweet energy around me, enveloping me… Breathing in and out and feeling the air moving through the channels, filling me up. God is breathing me… animating this body, this vessel, this creation that I know as me. This early morning connection inspires me to write my first poem of the morning and so it is… Good morning! |

Oh, I love the contrast with your words. There seems to be contradiction, but yet, the truth that is there feels so clear. Beautiful feeling, thank you! |

Good day my fellow wayfarers.
Nicola, just before I read your post I was thinking about your saying ‘lets see who drops by.’ I like that idea, very insightful, and look how it’s going!! You my friend, are a Divine Connector, and as such, you’ve got a ticket to ride wherever your soul desires. shanti, mike. |

I wake to the feeling of tenderness. The ever sweet presence of the Divine and love gently wrapped around my soul. The essence of well-being. No where to go. Just rest peacefully and be held in a moment of grace. “Fill thou my life, O Lord my God, In every part with praise, That my whole being may proclaim Thy being and thy ways…” Loving the feeling of “alrightness” surrounding me, the wonderful peace that that feeling brings. Loving that it is not attached to anything in particular, but it seems to colour everything. “Fill every part of me with praise:
Let all my being speak_ Of thee and of thy love, O Lord, Poor though I be and weak…” As a child, one of the best school memories that I have (and there are many!) is starting the morning off in the hall (auditorium) in prayer and song. Standing together, singing wonderful hymns, singing the national anthem, saying the Lord’s prayer… loving the fellowship and sense of community and coming together. “So shall each fear, each fret, each care, Be turned into song: And every winding of the way The echo shall prolong.” Something about our group echoes what I loved then. Our coming together to dance with the Divine in whatever way we feel moved. The joy of your company as we dance together! Enjoy God’s grace in each precious moment today! |

Morning… glory, magnificence! The wildness of the Divine on display through Mother Nature. Pounding rain that gradually softens to a soundless cascading stream against my windows. One loud boom of thunder to announce the show and it is the first thunder that I have heard for the year in my majestic mountains! |

Soothing sounds of rain coming down from the heavens. Rhythmic and gentle drops. Lying still and turning inwards to nourish my soul. My tiredness seeps away, as the silence works its magic. The day is new and everything feels fresh, green and alive! Sustenance inside and out. Tapping into the feeling of how our lives are intricately inter-woven. Answering the call to share always what is in my heart. |

Woke up, felt the loveliest of energy all around and the first two lines spontaneously unfolded of “Burn To Your End,” which I have posted below and in my blog. Just writing down what flows forth without censor. The burning to your end feels symbolic of our opening to the bigger part of who we really are. Releasing the smallness of our personality and ego… I'd be curious to hear how the words speak to you, if at all. Burn To Your End
by Nicola Karesh Softness wraps itself around me And bursts into flames. The way of the warrior Is shrouded in mystery. The path of the lover Is paved in gold. The journey of the soldier Is riddled with pain, Bodies and sights unimaginable. I am the warrior, the lover And the soldier. I am the force who beckons angels And repels demons. I am it all. Imagine that for a moment, Containing the uncontained. Imagine swirling the heavens, Plunging the seas. Rising to conquer it all, With the softest of flames. I am the miracle-maker. You can bank on me, With everything you’ve got. I am the story-teller. Leave nothing to chance. I am your lover, your Father, your friend. Enter the flames and burn to your end. |

I am content to sit in silence. Nothing that I am asking for or wanting with my conscious mind, aside from being in the stillness. What could there possibly be to ask for, when the feeling is that everything is contained, yet mysteriously not contained, right here. What is there to want when as soon as I enter this space, I am fulfilled and content? |

Sitting in silence today. Sorting out stuff in my mind. Having the dawning realisation that “sorting out stuff” is not why I sat down. Remembering my original purpose for being in silence… The desire to be in communion with God / the Divine. Not to unload my problems or have God fix things. Simply to be with the almighty Creator. |
