I did a reading for myself this morning that contained ALL of the eight cards from the four suits. What do you think this means? |

With all due respect to gonzalo, I was hoping for a thoughtful answer from someone familiar with tarot. I do believe that the tarot can be used to offer insight and guidance, as they are a reflection of the synchronistic energy present at the time of the reading. Althought I’ve been reading tarot for a while, I’d like to dig deeper into some of the meaning the tarot holds. I do know that when more than one card of a particular number appear in a reading it is significant. Since in this case, I got ALL of the eights, I think the number 8 holds some key to understanding the reading. While I know that eight represents infinity and can represent the ongoing nature of life, I was wondering whether anyone could offer any further insight as to what this might represent. Thanks! |

Hi Angie – you don't mention how many cards were in the entire reading, and where these 8's were placed. just merely taking it on why there were 4 eights in your reading….well, ok. but as you may've guessed, there may be hesitancy to give an absolute when there is key information missing to the question. |

According to Martinism, 8 is the number of Christ. Perhaps your closer to God then you realize? Turn the number 8 on it's side, and you've got the symbol for infinity… isn't that odd..? |
