Commute Differently

The biggest way to be more green with your job, is to simply pollute less on the way there!

Many U.S. cities have implemented Commuter’s Choice programs, where both you and your employer will be the recipient of a large tax break for travelling to work by alternative means.

Search your city for such a program.

At this time, I’m working on compiling a large database with precise information as to how everybody in every U.S city can take advantage of such programs.

Visit our APWV profile for more information, or to simply submit something useful for others to see.

I cannot speak for any other place, but I know my hometown has a good public transit system.  I used to take the light rail train to work, and my mom almost always takes the bus.  Okay, so some days it's pretty miserable to wait for the bus or train…but it is cheaper and better for our planet.
