I met someone once, who seriously felt like he was spiritually my soul mate, but that worldly things kept us apart.  He knew me.  Not like knew me from years of spending time with me, or even asking me tons of questions to get a feel for my reactions to things.  He just knew me.  We could sit, on our second date, mind you, and just have whole conversations with just our eyes.  Not only did the man know when I was lying, but why, and how, and he knew the truth.  It was so freeing, not to be able to put up any false fronts.  It felt like there wasn't anything about me he didn't know, so there was so shame, no hurt, no nervous feelings.  It wasn't even that he finished my sentences, but more that I wouldn't have to even say them, because he already knew.
