Has anyone heard any followup on Serenity and her child? I haven't checked her site. I guess that would be a logical first move. I just doubted that she would be online right now. Did the card get sent?

I know it's been over two months since I've posted my original request. I would like to thank everyone who sent positive energies out. Mother is still not doing for herself and is working with the disease in stead of against it. She has made her decision quite clear that her time is limited and that it is her will that she spend the last bits of it doing what she loves - working with children, in as long as she's able. She has decided to follow a path of least resistance, and although I don't accept it, I can understand.

My original thoughts and prayers for those who won't fight for themselves continue, in hopes that another soul will latch onto the energy and it will be beneficial to them.

Davis I feel you I just came from negativeville myself. Hey much LOVE to you and try to think positive go inside your self if you can reach inside your heart and let it shine trough your Worthy of LOVE , JOY , HAPPINESS Chant this over and over also Affirmations help too.
I hope you come out of this attack Davis.

The fact that you want to get out of your depression state and want help is a big step, I too fight with depression sometimes and it is a battle I totally understand. what works for me is thinking positive. Write a journal of Affirmations for example,I know I can get through anything unpleasant that comes my way I'm strong and worthy of happiness. you can even buy a book at the book store of Affirmations that can help guide you. What you want to stay away from is negative thinking and people it will deplete your energy and send you deeper into depression.

I wish you well on your journey in life and I know that you are going to come out of it because you want to. Keep positive and love yourself now is the time to treat your self live a Queen you deserve it : )

Dear daVis,

I am sorry to hear you are going trough a tough time, you know, I understand, I suffered from depression to and while healing we experience the bumpy roller coasting effect. Take time for your depression, look clearly what you are feeling, experience it, you will need it later to analyse and understand better. I think it is your being, resisting because you have shown you want to come out of the shadows into the spotlight and that is very frightened, we feel resistance to it, take your time, let your soul get used to the light. See it as being in a somewhat darkened room and suddenly you are there in the bright white light and it hurts, not only the eyes but your entire being hurts. Take time to get used to the light illuminating YOU~!

You have already decided, you are going to beat this depression again and again. Remember? I am with you all the way. I will wrote a prayer now for all who suffer depressions.

I am so sorry that you are afflicted with depression. I too have been attacked by it. This is just something that is residing within you temorarily and you can overcome it. You are bigger than the depression can ever be. You really do have the power to awaken from it. You are strong enough and you are important. I am so glad that you reached out- you are ready to get rid of it! I am sorry I cannot explain you better, but just know deep down that it really DOES get better. Look at every day as a gift :) SMILE.

My mother was recently diagnosed with PLS - Primary Lateral Sclerosis. Saving medical speak, PLS is a gradual death of the nerves that control voluntary motor skills, like walking, using the bathroom, swallowing and, perhaps most evil, smiling. The progression has been extraordinarily quick - in the last year she's lost all ability to walk without the aid of a walker, climb into bed by herself, control her bowels all of the time and to climb safely in and out of the shower. Doctors have said this advanced stage is usually only arrived at after several years with the disease. Upon hearing this, she gave up all hope. She refuses to attend the physical therapy that would keep her moving and limber for years to come and give her a normal lifespan. She downs chemicals in order to kill the pain, but doesn't listen to the warnings that these "medicines" may worsen her condition and cause nerve loss, weight gain and chemical dependancy - all of which they've done.

And now I come to my request. I would like the strong, loving souls of this community to lift up with me the following words to help all of those, like my mother, who have, for whatever reason, given up on their will to fight:

Give to those without it, the recognition and use of their inner strength.
Give to those without it, stamina, that their strength be of utility.
Give to those without it, endurance, that their stamina not falter.
Give to those without it, peace, that their endurance not be a burdon.
Give to those without it, love of life, that peace blooms in its most magnificent form.

Thank-you all for taking a few moments to even just read these five lines - every little bit of consciousness devoted to those who have given up on themselves helps.
