WHY SHOULD YOU HELP HIM??

Because he truly, truly cares about everyone in this world, human and animal. He wants to devote his life to helping others and making this world a better place. He truly is brilliant, charismatic, charming, well spoken, creative, talented ... in other words, perfectly suited to make a huge difference in this world.

However, currently he can't help others because he can't even help himself. If he can only overcome the issues that are holding him down, he will be able to unleash his potential to help make a huge difference in this world.

I GUARANTEE THAT BY HELPING HIM YOU WILL BE HELPING MANY MORE PEOPLE, BECUASE HE WILL GO ON TO HELP THOSE PEOPLE ONCE HE GETS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's wrong with him?

Due to various mental health issues, he is very disfunctional and has been for several years. He still hasn't been able to do basic things like finish high school or hold down a job for more than two months.

Hey Everyone,

I am currently a team leader of this project and the following is a piece I wrote about it.

The Earth needs our help! She is going through some chaotic transitional pains, and She needs our energy. Humans from all around the World, from every corner of the Globe are coming together simultaneously on July 17, 2007 11:11 Greenwich Mean time to fire the energy grid of the Earth. Mass citizens are doing this in order to give our Planet the surge of energy She needs to survive these chaotic times, and come through them resurrected anew, with a willingness to bring about the coming days of peace.

As you probably know, The Earth is being harmed by its residents. It won't be able to stand the poisons that are constantly entering Her environment for much longer unless we help her. Beings of Light, who truly care for this planet, have drawn up a plan for us humans to follow. So what is the plan? The time has been set for July 17, 2007 at 11:11 Greenwich Mean Time, in which volunteers are to simply sit down and mediate, pray, visualize, (whatever you do) for one hour. It is only one hour out of your entire life. During this time, our combined energies will work to direct energy to the Earth and to each other. I ask you to choose the way in which you deliver your intention. For those of you that pray, then pray for the hour asking for the faith and power to accomplish this tremendous task. Those of you who meditate, meditate and see the intention of your thoughts swirling deep inside our Earth delivering the love and healing. Those of you who have no ritual may simply develop one that works for you. If you sit and repeat a phrase of your intention such as "I offer you my energy to heal this world and its people" Any positive words of hope, love, and desire for change will manifest these thoughts as our new reality. If possible, gather with others during this hour. I have found that the intensity of my meditations heightens when I am sharing the experience with other people.

You may be wondering if that will really heal the Earth. The answer is yes. We tend to underestimate the power of creation that we humans have been blessed with. We especially tend to underestimate are co-creative power we have as an entire race. This planned sitting of the people of Earth will demonstrate the love and faith we feel for the goodness of our world and its inhabitants. We are the catalyst to the healing of the Earth. A true believer has the power of ten fold. So if you only think you may believe, know that the faith of the others will boost your own faith and the power will be intensified. That is why we must all sit at the same time. We will feed each others power, strengthening the force of delivery and the compounding the energy we send to the core of our home. Each and every one of us is important alone, but together we are a very powerful source of creative energy. Remember we are all a piece of God, and that energy of creation lives in all of us.

Please join us. We are the hope.

Reiki Jin-Kei Do© has three major components or aspects.

1 Healing with compassion - Karuna JIN
2 Meditation - Developing Wisdom - Pragna KEI.

3 Integration - Applying healing and meditation in daily life, making it your way of life - DO - ultimate purpose being enlightenment.

Healing:

This encompasses the practice of Reiki with strong emphasis on self-treatment. Importance is placed on developing awareness to the Reiki flow during the self-treatment. Focus is on the four upper chakras and palms. The treatment begins with a feeling of compassion for yourself. With unconditional love you treat yourself. This attitude of compassion for oneself is an integral part of healing. Because of our nature of being we are prone to physical, emotional and mental imbalances throughout our lives. Therefore, spending at least 10 minutes for yourself doing Reiki with the attitude of compassion for our suffering has to be generated from the heart. With the development of compassion in your heart, an accompanying sensation develops. This sensation is because of the Reiki activation and further opening of the Heart. When we are able to fill ourselves with Reiki (compassionate energy), then we can extend it to others.

Reiki symbols with their inherent power helps to amplify energy for different purposes. Like any other formulae, with the correct understanding of the deeper meaning of these symbols, it gives true power to the symbol. The true power of the mind in its universal state is realised with the use of symbols.

The next part of healing is treating others. The development of compassion for self can now be projected to others with the transmission of Reiki. In other words the Reiki flow is enhanced by feelings of compassion in the Heart. This becomes very important in distant healing.

The third aspect of healing is that through the experience of Reiki we also gain some understanding of our own universality. Therefore, it is important part of healing to send energy to the universe and all its beings.

Meditation:

With Reiki initiation basic instructions on a simple meditation is provided. As the student progresses through the levels of Reiki further instructions and guidance is provided. The main focus of the meditation is to develop awareness to the energy. As one begins to see how the energy fluctuates in the physical body, one also sees how the thoughts arise and pass away in rapid succession. Mind's ability to see energy flux helps develop the ability to see clearly the rapidly changing thought process. This leads to development of insight and wisdom. Also along the path of meditation one realises non-self which is the realisation that we are all one with the energetic state of universal energy. We loose the identity of an individual entity and ego-centredness and we begin to see ourselves in every being thus developing universal compassion and true wisdom.

Integration:

This is the most difficult aspect. It is bringing together of the compassion of Reiki and wisdom of meditation and applying it every moment of our life. This is the living of the method and making it your way of life. When wisdom and compassion are highly developed and integrated then that is the path to enlightenment.

Imagine always makes me cry (happiness). It, and Instant Karma (we all shine on! - from my profile) were favorites of ours. I send him distant messages that I feel get through, but he is no longer among us, physically.

One can always get the Reiki i and II attunements (level II includes distant Reiki healing) or else one can always pray intercessory prayers to the God/Goddess of your choice for healing of those far away in time & space...which makes both quite malleable!

Im not an expert, but have tried over the years to harness my energy enough to send healing to people. Lately I have be trying to send light to my elderly grandma in San Diego, I focus and can see her in bed so I know she's at least comfortable.

My best case of sending healing was when my sister's sister in law Angie almost died and her situation truly distressed me. My sister said Angie kept saying during her stay in the hospital that she saw me, mind you I only met Angie once. Angie was limited in what she could say during her recovery, but insisted she saw me numerous times.. Its taken 3-4 years and Angie has made and almost full recovery. They thought she would never walk again. I love miracles !

Thank you so much for sharing. I am glad to know that I am not the only one that has ever felt fake. While well knowing that I really do feel a connection with "Something"....

I have been helping in the group more now and opportunities have finally come up for me to be able to be online at home. I stomped my foot and said to myself "Hey I do care and I do follow after Jesus who preached 'love & compassion' above all else." I AM NOT FAKE!!!

First to Hariculate, Dear one, I am aware of your concerns. I am a member of a Christian Church, & there have been times when I felt 'fake' just stepping through the church doorway, but I know in the depth of my being that I am not a fake because I am a lover of the Beloved Eternal. Also, I feel that the essential teachings of Jesus are sourced in the Eternal, and that is my center as well. It helps also that our Pastor tells Buddhist, Jewish, & Sufi stories & that the congregation has attracted many people of different religious backgrounds. I have come to see that my notion of fake-ness has come more from cultural conditioning, and 100's of years of Biblical distortions, rather than my falsely represented religious beliefs; besides they know I strongly lean towards "All" rather than one tradition. So I enter into prayers, songs, & discussions from this perspective of All-ness & I have stopped feeling any reason to do otherwise. Dear Wahid, About the stats. When I first heard of it my mouth uttered PHOOY! I have witnessed the remarkable changes towards love & compassion, deepening & deepening in meditators & prayer groups. Thanks for this post Cynthia....I think it was. I am a Christian in the sense that I follow the teachings of Jesus. I am also many other things and have had many experiences that do not fall within "traditional" Christianity. I am open to all that brings about connectedness with other souls. Having trained in Christian Healing Touch, I was reminded that "healing" is different than curing. Someone wrote about their mother having cancer and the many changes that happened in her life that were positive, even though her body eventually was overcome by the disease. In praying for others, I would suggest that acting as a channel of Divine Love, we can direct healing thoughts or prayers to them. I believe we can visualize the diseased cells being carried out of their bodies or the pain being relieved...we can do this for ourselves as well. I do not believe, that we can ask for an outcome, however, for who are we to know which outcome will truly bring about the healing that is required for them or those around them. In the end, we really don't need studies to tell us results do we. I would agree with others that a person worsening or getting better probably has nothing to do with prayers, but healing happens and we may never know what shape it has taken. This is the part that requires faith I guess.
