Hi Kelly,
I'm sort of a novice at this. That's the main reason (other than forgetfulness - ha! ha!) I haven't ordered anything yet. So here's my (first) question: which method is most effective, a topical or inhalation? My guess would be inhalation because it gets straight into your system (thinking about meds in general here). I like the idea of topical, 'cause then I might smell good too.  :  )

Also, for inhalation, is that done by heating the oils over a candle and letting it waft around you (ala smudging)?

Thank you so much for this inquiry - there are different applications and depending on what you are trying to achieve, the methods vary in effectiveness.  There are various methods of inhalation that I can post for you later this week.  Yes, it is true that inhalation is highly effective because it does enter your blood stream more quickly via the thin membranes in the nasal passage.  One methods that is a time-honored tradition is the bowl of hot water with a few drops of essential oils (like this blend for instance) and a warm towel over the head… deep breaths in…. and WOW… amazingly powerful.

Again, I will post and send you a notice when I post about various application methods for essential oils.

Thanks, Kelly! I love the method with the warm towel, infused with the oils. Ahhhh…. I'll definitely have to use that one!
