What do you all understand / speculate / know about the relationship between fire and spirit? Is fire (not necessarily in a physical concept, but may be so) an important part of your life? Fire is one of the critical elements.   Left alone it would devour the earth.  Whatever it envelops becomes its servant, not only the forest trees, but our eyes, seated around it, watching little tongues of flame sprouting up between the logs.

I fear fire; not the little fire at the tip of my candle, but the big one, intent on snatching an entire city.
