Project Alabama

Jenn said Apr 28, 2006, 6:32 PM:

Handmade couture, awesome (sometimes reclaimed) fabrics, and visible handstitching, all made in the US by stitchers in Alabama. So expensive, but so wonderfully lovely…I burn, I pine, I perish.

I want a white one for a wedding dress - taffeta, beads, and lace be damned!

YES! I saw stuff from these folks recently -it was beautiful!
have you ever checked out their  journal section on their website?
It's pretty cool, I can't wait until they post more.

I love the journal section…it just went up recently, and I was soooo excited.

I can’t actually afford any of their stuff, but I love that they have a book on how to make their things in the works and that they offer project pages with details of how to do some of their techniques.

I love handmade clothes, and these are lovely and aren’t afraid to show that they’re individual.
