I'd certainly like to participate—are we talking at 9:09 am or pm for the dial in on Monday's though?  Will there be opportunity to have a discussion after the meditation?  Sorry to be confused, but just wanting to know the details.

It'll be 9:09 am, and I think to start we'll certainly be able to have a period of sharing or emptying. If the calls end up getting too full I assume we'll have to work something else out, but to begin with I'm sure it won't be a trouble to “go around the room.”

I'm delighted to see this idea with wings, dear Siona. It was first proposed to you, then to our OLMW Think Tank and then at Eli's thread. Inspired by this community[ and my daughter who first showed me the potential of the circular numbers!]

Oh, everyone. Thank you so very much; your words mean everything. My intent with this call is to create a space and call together a container that will allow all of us in attendance to deepen into and fully experience what it means to be Gaia–to be a part of that great mystery, with all the terrifying love and wonder and extraordinary, everlasting beauty that bubbles up through in each ongoing moment. Whether there are five or five thousand on the call, it will be powerful; this I know, because this is just the beginning of something so, so much greater than any of us. We've only just begun.

That's true, Siona. I feel that this can go in either direction - the one of the spiral numbers as 9:09 and others in the series represents [I've described the birthing of this aspectin my blog ]  and in the healing of Gaia the Mother Earth with all her children, sentient and 'insentient' beings.

Eli, Swamiji,  has suggested this so strongly, insistently, to us privately and in his feature ensuring that all the wonderful members of this community come together with their inspirations. He is truly inspirational. Waking the sleeping thoughts within us, that were hesitant to emerge.

I would like us all to keep his suggestions in mind –in a way they're the seed within us – to allow his vision to come to fruition, and to continue.

… lol I've just had the thought of nine minutes and nine seconds after nine - it works out numerically. 9h09.09 = 3 x 9 = 27 = 2 + 7 = 9

The 3rd nine could be translated into 9 minutes of prayer or beaming light

OK, 9:09 AM and/or PM each day, in my time zone, for a 5-15 min? meditation/prayer/appreciate/rejoicing/celebration of Earth, and Mondays at 8:09 AM Pacific Time for the calls. (I'll be there with one eye open…..)

Thanks for putting this into specific form, Siona, and all the others who've helped it be birthed, and Swamiji the father of this particular effort, so to speak.

9:09 is like a call; a code to remember to connect to Gaia with the highest vibration available to us. Those who can be on the call, can do so at the particular time. And those who cannot, can connect in heart-mind or simply in light.

We can connect with heart to Gaia heart; intuitive awareness to Gaia's intuitive awareness. And then, we may find, as  I have, that each time we see the time, or become aware of the spiral numbers, we are sending out light and healing [as in wholeness, not correcting anything, but being in balanced connection] to Gaia.

Replying to post: I have long noticed that when I attempt to “ground” I end up feeling my heart connecting to the whole earth, like imagining I am hugging the sphere, rather than my putting out a cord from base chakra extending into the center of the sphere. So I think that heart-connection is a really good visualization for at least part of the 9 minutes.

Meenakshi and Alluvja: The line can 'seat' 500 comfortably. A few members wrote to encourage a recording, which we can certainly do; the only thing is that if we go that direction I'll need to mute those on the line, at least for part of the session–the recordings get quite scratchy and hard-to-hear when all lines are open. I'm sure we'll be able to navigate this easily, though, and when this grows I'll just look into upgrading to a more nuanced service.

(I like the idea of the Gaia Moment, too–but I think Gaia Minute is fine, as the moment starts at a specific 9:09 minute. :)

Oh Siona how wonderful this is coming together.

I will be joining the meditation at 9.09 likely at my evening time.

I would also just Love to join in with the call so I'll echo Meenakshi's question as to how many people the conference can take, do we need to register so you'd have an idea how many people may join?
And oh yes, please do recors these sessions. I have joined a telegathering before and found it very helpful to be able to listen to it again later.

As far as the AUM Marathon for  Mother Earth goes. Things are really coming together smoothly. I just joined the practicing group on monday nights where we chant for half an hour to tune in together telepathically with all who participate so the matrix will get really strong and there is a thursday nite group  I haven't attended yet but will so this week and we'll do some grounding exercises and be discussing what comes up.  
I will post about this group also in this pod so people who want to join can contact me. Also I will keep a follow up in the Eli of the sacred mountains blog.

while driving my son home from school I had the thought that there are 108 beads on a mala
1 + 0 + 8 = 9.
108 sacred chants.
And I was wondering about finding a Gaia mantra and chanting it for 9 minutes
- perhaps on the days when there aren't guided meditations, etc

For now, I am feeling called to participate at 9:09 my time [EDT] daily and for the calls, on MST!

Siona, is it possible perhaps in future to use the Go To Meeting webinars so that if people want they can sign on by computer and visuals can also be used. I don't know about the cost component, so please take this suggestion if it works for Gaia. I attend a meeting on some  Sundays and find it a good resource.

Eli  may come by about time zones, but this is what he had suggested, saying that the some fine -tuning needs to be done:

Eli : ”There are TWO basic needs:
1. Synchronous sincere prayer by a Big number of people EACH day at SAME appointed time.
2. At the individual level, observance of solemn and spiritual silence for 10 mins every day.
We need 1500-2000….”

Eli : ”we do it in groups, each group belonging to a time zone does it together. For example people belonging to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc. can join in ONE group and decide their own convenient 15 mins time slot, while People in Europe could perhaps decide their own time. As long as we have numbers in each group, it will focus the Light in a tight healing beam from that group.
Let us see how things evolve, we might need one person for each group, and a central co-ordinator of the project over-viewing this whole project …
just a thought … it needs refinement and fine tuning.”

Let this evolve organically, I think once we have numbers, we could appoint “nodal” persons in each time zone purely for coordinating and organizing.

After the initial work, our effort should concentrate on ensuring that these prayers are sustained over time.

Hi, folks - I really like that this is a spiritual practice, more than a particular or even occasionally recurring event.  I tuned in at approximately 9:09 this evening - having the opportunity to share the invitation with a couple of Facebook Gaians, and received a call from a very ecologically connected skin life friend at 9:18.  I was able to share the invitation with her as well - and she will likely participate twice daily :-).

I very much look forward to seeing how this expands - many thanks to the various folks who are vehicles of its manifestation.

Anna, as I understand from Guruji's words, there might be time zone problems for simultaneous prayers for people from different parts of the world. So he was suggesting that once we have sufficient numbers fro a certain time zone, perhaps one of us could act as a “coordinator” for prayers for that time zone. Your time is not too far off from my Indian time, maybe between us we could arrange something meaningful. I am not sure how it is to be done yet, maybe this will also evolve over time under Siona's leadership.

Anna, India follows only one Time, the Indian standard time (GMT+5 hr 30 mins), across the entire country, so it is 9:09 across whole of India. You are “approximately” closer to Indian time LOL.

I'm grateful for this opportunity! I meditated on world peace from 9:09 to 9:19 this morning - out on my garden bench. I find it so much easier to pray and meditate when there is a specific time to be present, and I know i am joining others in spirit. I would like to join the Monday phone meditation, also!

9:09 seems like such a joyful pattern .

A recording is a wonderful idea; and so is muting everyone during the meditation - is there a way to 'raise a hand' as in a webinar, to indicate when someone wants to speak before/after the meditation? [It's been ages since I phoned in for one of them!]

I'm also wondering if you'd like us to actually register for the call so that those who do are given some preliminary information?

I'm going to blame this question on the whole Mercury in Retrograde thing (lol) and also to the fact that I've never done an actual dial in meditation before here at Gaia.  Would someone mind clarifying for me–for the Monday call–I was thinking that I would simply pick up my phone and dial the number/enter the code and then hear/participate in the meditation in this way?  Is there something else going on, where I need to somehow dial it up via my computer? —-Is my computer illiteracy showing very badly right now?

Tracy, I'm sure you are being brave enough to voice the question many appreciate your asking.

I'm on the other side of earth so unfortunately I'm not joining in this one - but am having prayer meditations synchronized with those who are holding their Gaia Minute in the Indian time zone and also the South African time zone.

From what I gather, you simply need to use your phone. I know Gien conferences from Skype, using a Skype package -  so this may be possible too.

Again, to clarify. The Gaia Minute is 9:09, and our invitation is twofold.

Firstly, if you're inclined and can spare the time / love / energy, just set your personal clock to 9:09 (am or pm!) and when the minute arrives, take a moment–as long as you wish!–to visualize a healed world of wholeness, vibrancy, appreciation, and care, and to nurture this healing energy in your heart so that you can bring it to all those around you.

Secondly, if it's convenient, we'd invite you to join us over the phone for a brief shared meditation each Monday, at 9:09 am MST (8:09 PST / 11:09 EST). The call in number is above–all you'll need is a phone or a Skype Out line.

I do plan to record these shared meditations for others who'd like to listen later. And it will be possible for us to “go around the room” to share; 5* will allow participants to raise their hands to speak. I'll explain all this on the call, though.

Love to you each, always, and I'm so looking forward to Monday.

I feel a little slow on the uptake here, but discovered something, finally. I am often not up by 9:09 AM my time, and often I am still in meetings at 9:09 PM my time. HOWEVER I just realized that at any give hour plus :09, it is 9:09 AM somewhere in the world, and 9:09 PM somewhere in the world!!

So I can participate AT ANY HOUR PLUS NINE MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!

Meenakshi, remember our interest in time zones awhile back? Months ago? We really delved in and studied. I wonder, now………

As more of our experiences come through and this thread becomes long, perhaps we can start a new thread for describing our experiences? But for now, I am savoring this….

I'll be joining in, but not with my timezone. I was thinking the same as OM. I discovered that 09:09 is not as good time for me at all, morning or evening. Other hours are better. I prefer then to join in with people from a different timezone and be there fully, instead of rushing things to take a break at 09:09 for just a minute or two.

Meenakshi and OM: What is it about that conversation about timezones?

HI nion, replying to your question about Meenakshi and I conversing about timezones. A few months ago I found myself for NO “reason” fascinated by time zones, how they related to the sun traveling and how time travels around the world, all the details. It's far far more complex than most people realize, what with the international dateline and all. 

I wondered aloud, to Meenakshi, what this fascination was about. I knew from experience it might be preparation for something in my life/our lives that the knowledge would be handy for, as I really not just “knew” but “grokked” or “sensed into” the flow and patterns of time on the planet, and how this would affect people relating in different timezones. She got interested, too.

I don't think this Gaia Minute project is the entire reason, but I do see the relevance here, that I could offer that discovery I made. It'll be interesting to see in hindsight why my head, my Being (and hers!) got stuffed with that knowing. I'm also betting there were others who got prepared to have a planetary feel for how time is different in different places simultaneously, light/dark, clock hours, even days and dates, etc.

I love it!!  I've just set an “alarm” for 9:09 am and 9:09 pm each day.  (Colorado MST).  I will be reminded twice each day to take a minute or more to meditate on peace, love, light, laughter, joy, abundance, compassion and harmony for ALL by Otis Redding singing his Happy Song, which always makes me smile. 

and I will ring in on Mondays to listen to the guided meditation, or at least most Mondays, depending on what other things life has in store for me.  :-)

I'm quite happy to have stumbled across this today and I'm going to share it!

We feel that there may be a number of “first-timers” to meditation as this project gets more support. In order to help these wonderful souls, we are preparing a room with “Basic Techniques of Meditation” in the One l Light Many Windows group. The room is under construction and we need help.

I am aware that many of us here are Teaching/Practicing meditation. I request such lovely Gaians to please be ready with at least one write-up on “AUTHENTIC MEDITATION TECHNIQUE” , the focus of the write-up being a “step by step how- to manual” for BEGINNERS.

As soon as the room is opened, we will announce it here. Please do come and post your kind contributions in the room.

This would be mainly a “read only” booklet, we would have several different easy meditation techniques in this room. The reader can pick the one which resonates. We may have discussions in the One Light Many Windows Forum if people  have queries or are facing any difficulties while practicing.

Thank you Siona for the beauty of this morning.  I am soaring with the Love energies and so happy to connect with such beautiful souls; as we covered the United States in our ripples outward - Meenakshi - Eastern, Deb -Central, Siona & Dawn - Mountain, OM - Pacific and dear, dear Lucienne up in the middle of the night to ripple from Europe - as we all met to encompass the Earth on this International Day of World Peace.  A most auspicious beginning indeed.

Tracy, I'm not sure of your time zone but I am aware of your work with the Divine Feminine energies, which are manifesting now in Love and Healing, and it was wonderful to meet you in that space.

Any others who were there and did not speak up, our hearts are grateful for your presence; and if you missed this morning, you will be able to listen on recorded message.  Please do feel welcomed to join us next week.  I intend to join in every week, whenever possible.

wow.  wow.  wow.  I dialed in to the monday morning guided meditation by phone.  how amazing to hear the voices of the people whose words I have been reading for all this time!!  I listened in and did my best to meditate while working in the emergency communications center. 

each day at 9:09 am, I've been at work.  an alarm playing otis redding's happy song (very, very quietly), alerts me that it's time for the gaia minute.  this is so, so wonderful, because my day can be pretty chaotic, with constant interuption.  the thing about meditating on peace and gratitude in the midst of chaos is that, well, it such a great reminder that our peace comes from inside and radiates out.  if we wait until outside is peaceful in order to be peaceful on the inside, we may never find lasting peace.  I love getting this reminder everyday and then talking a few minutes to radiate some peace from within me, out to touch whomever or whatever situations cross my path. 

right now, I am so happy, joyful, thankful, almost giddy, to have been a part of this, to know that I am going to continue to be a part of this, to have heard such beautiful voices that go with these beautiful names and online personalities. 

thank you all SO much for sharing your time and yourselves and …. oh thank you!! 

(it's taken me an entire hour to type this much, between work things, so that's it for now.  love, light, peace, laughter, joy, harmony, health, wonder… love!! to all of you and to every single person who has so far or will later, speak to me on the phone or radio or in this very room!!)

What a wave of peacefulness came over me during that call. And I was radiating it out as fast as I could, LOL !!

I too noticed we had all the US time zones represented, plus Lucienne in the Netherlands (I think it was 5:09 PM her time, not middle of night, same for Anna??)

What a thrill to hear the voices who spoke up, the voices of so many who are SO dear to my heart yet such a simple aspect of them unknown til today; except Meenakshi, who called me a few times with support when I was moving, which really helped a lot. Some part of me found it amusing that I introduced you this morning, Meenakshi, and I was giggling out loud, later. Dunno why!!

Thank you Siona for helping bring all this project together, and for guiding us this morning with your soothing voice, preceded and followed by your expertise in arranging the call, getting the recording posted, etc. The spectrum of yours and everyone's abilities is sooo absolutely awesome and delightful!!!

Looking forward to hearing the recording, to more and more of the ripples Deb mentioned, and to the carrying of the peace and love and gratitude to touch everyone we meet during our day — thanks for that image, Siona — and to our next call, when we can meet even more of the Gaia folks participating!

Siona, I'm going to go listen now. It was a most beautiful experience and I'm requesting all to post on this thread at Gaia Networking as well; so that other members can get to know of these Monday morning calls.

Anna wasn't able to sign on and I wonder if this happened to others as well. It kept ringing but there was no response.

I still hope we can in some way involve members who don't have the possibility of signing on to the US number; but in any case, deeply in gratitude.

Oh, Tracy. It was lovely having your voice and presence there too. What I'd wanted to ask you about earlier was your coming on as a guest and leading a meditation at some point–I'm sure we've got many on Gaia who'd be happy to do something like this and I'd love our voices to rotate. Thoughts?

Oh what a treat to hear it again, this telecall. Thank you Siona.  I am still so much filled with loving gratitude to have been able to share this with those who were on the call and now with all those who will be listening and will be participating either on the next calls or in the daily 9.09 meditations.
It was indeed a beautiful start of this cycle being it on the international day of peace and I have no doubts whatsoever that this will grow and ripple out indeed. I feel so blessed with this gaia family and the ability to share from our hearts together what is really real, to make visible and manifest the love we all share under all the layers of illusion we get trapped in so often. Thank you thank you thank you dear friends for sharing.
And OM you were right, it was 5.09 pm here and not am like Deb thought, but Deb you know me a bit by now, I'd probably would have been there anyway lol!

Btw something practical: for me this thread became terrible slow and takes ages to load. Is perhaps the posting of this audio a proper moment to make this a new thread part II?
