Meenakshi: I love that part too. Listening to voices from all over the globe makes the whole planet feel so small, and for me at least puts my own experience in such perspective. Even with something as great as the solstice there's an 'other side' where the opposite is being experienced. It's a beautiful re-framing of the usual time and space considerations. :)

Happy summer, Anna! And happy winter here. I love the way these Gaia minute calls in which we connect from different hemispheres, make it actually real that Mother Earth experiences summer and winter simultaneously, at different places, with the difference in temperatures and climates getting even more pronounced as we move towards the poles.

Of course, ocean currents play their own part, as do the mountains, in influencing the weather in our very own place.

Just sharing some musings as these weekly meditations help me to be even more mindful of conditions on Earth.

Thank you Siona and all whom I heard and did not hear before the meditation.

wonderful to note Solstice - it's Summer here! Thank you for another beautiful meditation, Siona. The line was 'buzzy' today but still it was beautiful. Gien and i joined just as the lines were muted so we missed the conversation

The Gaia Minute Call - Week 14

Today's Monday call happened to fall on the Winter Solstice, a Gaia Moment if ever there was one. I didn't mention this on the call, but there are meditations going on around the world in honor of this event, and so any time you feel called to still yourself in prayer or meditation, you'll likely be sharing in with many, many others.

And I hope this recording is clearer! I've asked for a better headset for Christmas, so with luck that will help eliminate some of the fuzz.

Thank you for the wonderful energy of this call and meditation, Siona, and all who were present. I joined in as Gien was telling us about the rainstorm in Johannesburg, and did I hear that Anna, you were caught in it? We have a thread on the rainstorms worldwide nowadays, and what they might be conveying to us, at The Power of Light group.

I know that you mentioned Laurie and Kathy, Siona, and I heard Yancey, I think, and perhaps Helen because Florida was mentioned, and the wonderful voice of Gien leading us into chanting Om Mani Padme Hung, and Deb. Thank you for this meditation.
