a path with a heart

a young latino student meets a toltec shaman, who wins?
don juan of course, don juan is a jewel of that rare kind, the people who lived and breathed their spirituality…don juan teaches us all about the taking of psychedelics, he made it a really serious thing. Carlos Castaneda's on a path: one that kicks off with The Teachings…and continues on past Don Juan's death

!

castaneda's first threw me off my chair. i was a freshie at work then while doing college, when my co-worker friends, brothers, introduced me to psychedelics and castaneda.

the combination sent my world crumbling down…
doesn't sound nice, but it was a blast(!) of an initiation into carlos' and don juan's world.

What is real?

Indeed perception and truth are a slippery slope and Castaneda has a gift for offering that insight.

My first teacher

I read this book 35 years ago & it opened my eyes & heart to greater possibilities over an up-till-then dreary life. It coincided with my own meeting-up with a desert teacher. Reading Carlos' story helped me understand my own journey.

This is a keeper!
