a consumate masterpiece
How can I fully communicate the skillful means, the genre-style-prosetype actualization, the color, the wonder, the adventure, the discovery, and the pervading deliciousness of the TASTE prevalent in every page of this awesome series?
C.S. Lewis pulls out a masterpiece. His fiction is an expression of his expansive imagination and his spacious worldview.
The implicit cosmology, the explicit story: it’s all absolutely freaking awesome. If you haven’t read it yet I strongly suggest you do. You really can’t go wrong.

I love this set of books! I received a box set of them when I was 7. I still read them to this day. I am even reading them to my baby brother now. I love the interaction of the story's characters with one another. They all seem so realistic regardless of the fact that some of them are fawns and such. It really is such a great set of books. My favorite would probably be the Horse and His Boy. You can learn a lot about the importance of friendships and family in these books. I don't think I have ever met anyone who didn't like the Chronicles of Narnia.
