this book made me  feel tremendous empathy (still wonder why)….while reading in the hotel room way past midnight with the girlfriend deeply asleep, just about  in middle of the book, my eyes registered a foggy grey element floating 1 meter away, quickly turning into greyish alien head and torso facing me….it took 2 seconds to do a reality check that this was not imagination..another 2 seconds later the inner sceptic gave up… I panicked! ( because it was so close!?) and that must have been the reason why  the alien instantly vanished  with a strange bang!-noise…i wonder if anybody else had a similar experience.
