David Hawkins’ trilogy of books relating to the map of human consciousness stems from a very simple kinesiological test familiar to many health pracititioners today. Its such a simple test that its almost too good to believe. After reading closely this Trilogy (beginning w/ Power vs. Force), and battling with skepticism of the methodology itself that is used to come up with the spiritual upshot of such research, this last book seals the deal for me. Even if one disregards the methodology of kinesiological testing to verify and come up with the conclusions in this book, the truth of these conclusions seem so right-on and in line with spiritual history that it makes for a truly groundbreaking survey of the nature of consciousness, enlightenment, and spiritual progress. This book has been of incredible aid in my own personal piecing-together of my own journey. Amazing book! Completely recommended.

This is the latest David Hawkins book I have read. It feels like you are sitting on the warm sand of a peaceful ocean setting. You read this book and the waves are rolling, the sounds relaxing, the warm sun hidden behind some puffy white clouds. This book is a further adventure in advancing consciousness. If you like science, though, you should probably focus on Lynne Taggert's books. If you are tired of your current dogma and want to replace it with another one, you should read A Course in Miracles or the Tibetan Book of the Dead. This book will help you to open and open up more. If that is what you want to do, read the first two books, Power vs. Force, and the Eye of the I and then read this book.

Help

These books (Hawkin's newer ones after Power vs. Force) came in a time when I needed more reference material & more elaboration on what I was missing in my spiritual journey. These books did exactly what they needed to do for me. They elaborated & the more I contemplated what was in them…the more I grew. Honestly, I don't realy use the calibration tool in my life. I read these books for Hawkin's personal revelations rather than for any insight about what is out there because I was more concerned w/ what was inside of me.
I eventually finished the books & have moved on but I still come back to Hawkins every once in a while when I am questioning something. I know for me personally these books have allowed me to understand mystical experiences & God more than most authors out there because he has travelled these roads already & knows the road markers & knows the pitfalls & is willing to actually teach what he knows to others via these books.
I know what I write here isn't more helpful than actual quotes so I'll write some quotes out. Check them out & see for yourself!
