In this groundbreaking book, Ken Wilber uses his widely acknowledged "spectrum of consciousness" model to completely rewrite our approach to such important fields as psychology, spirituality, anthropology, cultural studies, art and literary theory, ecology, feminism, and planetary transformation. What would
...(more) each of those fields look like if we wholeheartedly accepted the existence of not just body and mind but also soul and spirit? In a stunning display of integrative embrace, Wilber weaves these various fragments together into a coherent and compelling vision for the modern and postmodern world.(less)
This is one of my favorite Wilber books. The others are SES and Transformations of Conciousness. I read Eye of Spirit the one year that I lived in Cambridge, MA ('97). The book inspired me to believe in my own Greatness as a human, to live in service to others, and it showed me another stunning Glimpse of pure Awareness. I found this to be one of Ken's softer, gentler, more sensual offerings, while making clear, direct statements about his take on The Good, True and Beautiful.
