for one steeped in secular materialist science but craving more, this book was one that helped lead me to a spiritual path. Yogananda opened my mind to a vast universe that was unknown to me before.  It has been a few years since I have read it, and particulars haven't stayed with me, but this book has a special place in my heart and I am very grateful to the author for opening so many minds around the world, mine included.

I was pleasantly suprised by how wonderful this book it. It was a trult life changing read! I was inspired by the way the author brings together his spiritual beliefs and the beliefs and philosophys of the most prolific spiritual leaders from all major Thoughts.
