Excellent

An excellent saga. Anyone who enjoys mythology, yogic thought, Hinduism, or just a great story should read this. The translation is clear and accessible and although it is a condensed version, the parts that are removed do not detract from the story or the meaning. I highly recommend this book.

I have to agree with Brian Bruya though, Mitchell’s artistry with words is superb and his apparent cluelessness did not impair the powerful message in my opinion.
