I read the Seth books many years ago. I had one profound experience that stays with me. In one of his books, he describes how a spirit/life comes into the woman’s body. When I read that description, I got such a clear image, I immediately broke into tears and felt a great burden lifted. I had had an abortion, and although I knew it was the right thing for me and had no regrets, I spoke to that little spirit throughout with great love and sorrow for not being able to share this life, I carried it until then, somehow.

If you believe firmly that your consciouness is locked up somewhere inside your skull and is powerless to escape it, if you feel that your consciousness ends at the boundary of your body, then you sell yourself short, and you will think that I am a delusion. I am no more a delusion than you are.  I can say this to each of my readers honestly: I am older than you are, at least in terms of age as you think of it.  If a writer can qualify as any kind of authority on the basis of age, therefore, then I should get a medal.
