Spirit Kidnaps Scientist

I just finished reading this page-turning book and found it fascinating. In a way, it has the same science/spirit cohabitation paradigm that Steiner brought the west in much more systematic manner (and who is not referenced here at all, surprisingly). The story has two protagonists - the highly educated, highly rational and yet quite openminded Doctor and the fast-healing, diamond shining, inspiring Patient. There is transference and counter-transference, but all for the good. The information on life between lives is very scant compared to the work of Michael Newton, but holds commonalities. Among fascinating peaks into small filmlike recollections of lives from quite divergent eras in human / earth history, we are treated to insights of the Masters. It takes the Doctor a while to grasp that his own healing is co-extensive with that of his Patient; this is one of many paradigm shifts that he is pulled into inexorably in his sessions.  I would recommend this book to anyone who fears death, anyone who doubts reincarnation or karma, as well as to those who care to witness the courage of a hard-core scientist open his mind to the supersensible knowledge of higher worlds.
