There is nothing inevitable about aging--that is the inspiring message from Dr. Deepak Chopra. "Once again Dr. Chopra presents us with information that can help us live long, healthy lives. For all those interested in a long, full life, this
...(more) book is a valuable resource."--Bernie Siegel, M.D., author of Love, Medicine and Miracles Over 1.5 million copies sold. National bestseller. Line drawings.(less)
I listened to this book on tape. There was added pleasure and learning from hearing the information in Deepak Chopra's lovely accent, and being able to listen to it while driving, etc., repeatedly. The concepts parallel those of many positive philosophies, including Science of Mind, which I have studied on and off for 20 years starting with Louise Hay's “You Can Heal Your Life.” This is powerful stuff, and it does benefit me to be reminded of it repeatedly. Lord knows that the philosophy of failure was drummed into me brain repeatedly, so it makes sense that reprogramming my brain to success and anticipating the best may take repetition.
I have not read the book, but based on the portion I heard of the book on tape, it is life altering. (For the better!)
