Easy Reading; easy living

Out of the 4 Toaism books that I have read, this is the best of the lot. I found reading it really enjoyable. Now it's time to digest some of the great wisdom that i have been enjoying lately.

Daoism By a Christian Monk?

One would not think that a Christian monk would be the first choice of editors for a work by the master thinker Chuang Tzu. Once one has read and followed a path such as Daoism, the choice between mendicant Christian monk and worldly Eastern scholar is clear. Thomas Merton had found that place that transcended words and concepts and could walk along side Chuang Tzu during the process of preparing this book. The Eastern scholar simply fills the book with notes, claryfing certain passages, dazzling the reader with extensive knowledge. This same philosophy warns of knowledge.
Created from existing translations in English, this is a warm and inviting introduction into the world of Chuang Tzu and a second step for those who have finished the Tao de Ching.
