Concise instructions on the sacredness of paying attention

One of the best introductions to Buddhism; written in a very readable style.  A foundational book and at the same time a profound one, as it really focuses on post-meditation practices.  Recommended for anyone interested in Buddhism (long term practitioners as well as beginners) or simply anyone dealing with a neurotic mind.
