The Dhammapada is often considered the most representative example of the Buddha's teachings. A key to the fundamentals of early Buddhist philosophy, it has been translated into more languages than any other Buddhist text.

Small but Mighty

The words are mighty. The size is compact. My copy is usually close at hand. I find  the words to be like flashes of lightening. This book is a must have.

Twin Verses

I absolutely love the translation and size of this version— so compact and handy-dandy!
I'm about to buy a second copy to keep in my car with me wherever I go!

2500 years and still a gem

Like Jacqui I also have often carried this very edition with me for reading on the bus or similar.  Astounding that  thousands of years ago such wisdom was put together in such a small package.  A true favourite.

Pocket ful of Dharma

This is a great little book that I carry with me always in by purse.  I read and re-read it while I'm in line at the bank, between classes…just any ol'time.
