When you say, "He is a follower of himself and through observation sees truths ad tells stories that are passed on generation after generation," to whom are you referring with "he"? The author of the book? The character in the story? Or Buddha?

Siddhartha - One of the main things I like is the use of language to transport ideas. This is an important book to read now that we have every language from around the globe able to connect and speak (write) to each other. He is a follower of himself and through observation sees truths ad tells stories that are passed on generation after generation.

Mikey_Dee runs a multilingual group on Gaia and I am going to get him to give his take on reading this book. I will check back and give more on this book later.

I wonder if anyone else who has read the book would like to comment on this man's story. Siddhartha was Buddha's name, but this is not a book about the Buddha (though he is a character in the book). Yet, in a way it is, I believe. I would like to know what people think of how this character's story is similar to Buddha's. Or why is it called "Siddhartha"? It would be cool to get a conversation going here on that!
